Not even close to the 1982 christmas blizzard, my 77 Chevrolet monza was completely covered in a snow drift, couldn't see it. We had snow drifts up 8-9 feet in Thornton on the side of our house. It took us 3 days to dig out. This storm was nowhere close to that one...

Engleweird came in and scraped overnight, this morning the sun has exposed drying asphalt and a 24 inch wall of ice/slush on either side of the scrape. some neighbors have dug out their driveways to the cleared street, throwing their driveway scrapings into the cleared street. not all the neighbors have done this, just the precious few

Don’t expect the plows to be your friends, get ready for a 4 + foot barrier as they pass your driveway...

What do you expect a plow to do?

If you don't shovel that stuff out pretty soon after they plow it turns into a huge ice berm. Ugh.

Tell your reporter to bring the snow blower inside or to the front door Before a storm so he can get out and down the walks easier.

Texas we get the artic stuff up here too just in the winter months just like you did. You got a little bit of what the Northern states deal with.
