And it's also impossible that he is not aware of "the little sister" feeling with so many fakey faint just to get his attention and so she can touch him, the keep interrupting and knocking him in his hotel room wben they were in busines trip for doctor's seminar together, the lying he told to his gf and yet he's having a badminton with her, and specially the suddden surgery and attending with his patient lying thing which is he was busted, if you don't like what the girl was doing and if you dont want to caused any misunderstanding to your gf, you should not lie and he should be upfront to " the little sister" and be distanced to her--- I have now a girlfriend, I love her so much i dont want her to misunderstood my relationship to you, you are my deceased first love's sister and like my sister in law but thats just it and nothing so special relationship so please refrain of being so closey to me. But instead he allowed and cater for her and he even more on her side when the scheming girl blocked his gf's project proposal. I watched the whole series, i wish the gf didnt take him back but I forgot sometimes that Im watching a cdrama, that whenever a husband, boyfriend cheats( i know in this case her he is not cheating but i hate all his lyings and caterings to his " little sister" ) wives or girlfriends at the end of the series most likely they ended taking all this idiots back!!!

Director made hero look idiot. Why chinese director writer make hero or heroine look dumb or stupid. If hero character is strong heroine will be dumb vice versa. Hero should have cleared misunderstanding then and there. He waited for heroine to leave and why always chinese female antagonist are clingy and scheming. I s I agree. The ML is a weak and ineffectual guy. He's never tough enough with this girl. He just heard all the crap she spewed to husband GF and didn't really say a thing. Then she grabs him to stop him going after the GF, and he couldn't shake her off...come on. It gets frustrating to watch these ppl act so weak. And GF is too nice as well and too gentle in her approach towards obsessed cow. There are times when situations call for you to let loose towards these scheming heffas and step to them with strength.

When marriage and children are preached as the end all, be all, and the ultimate goal for women is where I think you find that dependence more. It's societal conditioning that tells women if you don't get married and reproduce something is wrong with you. Marriage and motherhood are great if it's what you want, but women need to be more discerning about choosing a partner. We have to live with him day in/day out. And, I think women need to continue some sort of work so as not to be totally reliant on hubby or be investing part of the money for themselves in a separate account. You should never put yourself in a position of helplessness.

He always acts as if he can't do a thing to discourage an inappropriate relationship--can't set boundaries, can't tell her no, can't avoid her, can't refuse her attention. Is this what the culture is like in China? I feel sorry for wives and girlfriends. They have to trust, but in the end they are just pushed aside by any other woman who comes along, because the man is so weak? Then they're supposed to take the man back?
