I lived in HELLA places in Nor Cal... born and raised in the bay (San Leandro) I now live in Sacramento, but I lived in the city of Water, Wealth, Contentment and Health for about 2 years. I lived on the very entrance to the West side. I lived a block from 4th street park (Cesar Chavez). I almost got 13 years on a trumped up "Armed Robbery" case there, so it made me decide to get the fuck up out of there after I had to beat it. I had to fight the case for 8 months at the Stanislaus County "Public Safety Center" in D-Unit.... That was actually a kind of fun jail bid, I smoked more weed in there than I normally do in the streets, and compared to my jail (Santa Rita) commissary is so cheap! Because I'd max my spending limit at the store every week, me and my homeboy were eating like kings and were constantly tore back in there and I had a few sexy little beezies visiting me every week, it wasn't too bad for jail lol. I fought and beat my own case, the public pretenders in there weren't worth a shit. Lol
