Thanks for your efforts with this video - it was quite interesting. I can see one important issue with your method: ArchiCAD is a purely architectural package for architects, while Revit is for all disciplines, so it is purchased by structural engineering and MEP engineering companies as well. In my view the "Number of architect users" would be a fair comparison. Thanks.
Sandor, that is a fair point. I was thinking about mentioning this in my comparison. I know Nemetschek group has other software offerings for different disciplines. It's hard to quantify how much Revit users use it for structural and MEP engineering compared to architecture. Tom
@@michaeljohl4669 I would think that even contractors can use ArchiCAD. I am not sure if you are not talking about professions such as HVAC specialist, electrician or construction engineer. These might use Revit but not ArchiCAD.
@@michaeljohl4669 Yes, it's true that you don't really know how many users of aitodesks AEC revenue comes form other software mainly. Hard to tell how many AutoCAD users purchase AEC collection even if they mainly use AutoCAD.
Hi, I didn't delete your comments. I checked "Under Review" category and they are not there. Only this one is showing up. It must have been done by RUclips, I don't know why. I see the first sentence of your three comments in my notifications but there's no way for me to do enable them. I see you proposed better filtering of my google trends comparison, which is a fair point. I'm sorry for the inconvenience. Tom

And don‘t forget that the AEC market also contains the contractors Which are no target of Graphisoft so far.
And most AutoCAD users will most likely rent the AEC Collection, as the price is more reasonable than the single price.
