The gayatri mantra is one of the most powerful purifying in the Vedas though traditionally was only given by an enlightened guru to an initiative, though since srila prabhupada introduced the world to the spiritual truth within the Vedas, this and the Maha mantra that were kept safe in India in the Sanskrit for over 6000yrs are now available to all humanity. This is divine mercy and as the negative energy is increasing these and other positive paths of enlightenment have been given to humanity in merciful compassion to raise our awareness and offer us pure self awareness to aid in the present negative problems that limit our true spiritual nature.
There's other wisdom in other forms, and though they are still available are known by less than what was once freely available to any who chose a path of enlightenment.

This has been one of my favorite mantras from the first time I heard it and the beautiful footage flows right along with the music. The opening shots of the temples makes me want to drop everything and hop on a plane to India!. :)
