Wee Aurora

Very brief aurora low down on the northern horizon, doomed from the start due to a switch in the north-south component of the magnetic field associated with the solar wind (bz), which changed from south to north before the display started.
Taken between 1827 and 2122 UTC, 22nd October 2023. Chapel of Garioch, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.
