Outstanding images, for many of us, our favorite birding destination, the far southwest! Still a lot like 1970, the hike below the cliffs remains wonderful!

Thanks for this video. I have never been to this State Park / area. After watching this... will plan a trip for next year. Love browsing your videos in general to find new "must see" locations (and suggestions on what to photograph while there). Keep 'em coming!

Ruddy Ducks skip across the surface longer than other diving ducks while taking flight.
Nice footage of the Nighthawk, Gulls, Terns, and Turkey Vultures!
I enjoy watching Turkey Vultures slowly soaring.
I find Gulls very interesting, esp when it comes to their attitudes, appetites, and diets.
Any game birds such as Grouse, Quail, or Turkey observed?
And what about raptors such as the Short-eared Owl and Long-eared Owl?

Really beautiful videography, we go southeast in spring, but while we were in northern minnesota these past few weeks we thought spring there, But! Watching your video, maybe Blue Mounds. Prairie is really beautiful too, just have to consider wind into it😉. So much more to explore right here in Minnesota. I think blue mounds, then right up to itasca county area in the spring. And of course sax Zim !

I believe Peter Getman was the first person to document Blue Grosbeaks in SW. MN back in the mid to later 1960's. bk

I did not know that! Very cool that we have his memorial bench in the Sax-Zim Bog!
