The ending was a form of getting her freedom for the poor female lead. She could never cath a breath or moment of freedom because almost all people around her destroyed her life in one way or another. She was surrounded by selfish people that only wanted to use her! In my opinion the horrible murder, toxic, abusive, psycho male lead never deserved the female lead. He deserved to be alone forever! The male lead was in fact the villain of the story.😬
