@neilprince-nv6ub I assumed that, but as other commenters have said, there's no shortage of fighter bomber sized supersonic planes, so I wonder what's learned from repeating that ? I'd be interested to know why they didn't start with an airframe large enough to carry passengers.
Concorde was not able to fly supersonic without a nasty supersonic bang. The reason for this one to exist is that it should be able to. Otherwise, it will be banned from flying supersonic on continents just like Concorde.

Passenger plane. This is a testbed for the systems and controls that are gonna be on the actual overture.
