If you're winning that's free, if it's not you really need to get it to secure the win. In that series, Peanut really throws the game by leaving the pit. He doesn't really need to do that unnecessary play. Vi is dead. So why bother go to Ezreal if you have smite advantage? Give me more reason why did he do that because I'm not convince on what you've said.
Lee is not going to die though. He still has 80% HP AND can ward-hop through the wall. With their team comp, they can just poke the enemies down AND get prio for Baron. Since Elder buff lasts for 5 minutes (because this is the 2nd Elder dragon slain), that means they can take Baron quite easily and just push mid with a 5-man Baron-empowered and Elder-empowered team.
