HotShot is one of those groups who is talented but underrated. Even though they get shouted out a lot by big idols. But, the thing I like about them is that they stay together and try their hardest to promote HotShot. By auditioning for all these survival programs, that they are way to talented for and truly don't need and staring in RUclipsrs videos. They try their hardest to promote their group and they are doing all that on their own will. Like, you can tell these guys are true friends because they are sticking together for this long, even through the hate they got when they debuted and not having an agency that really backs them up. Because each of them have the talent to easily be a trainee for a big company and debut. I mean 2 of them are former SM trainees, 1 is an ex YG trainee, and the other was almost a JYP trainee. So, it shows that these guys have to much talent to be inactive.They try their hardest to get known. And their friends that are in big KPOP groups (Shinee, Exo, BTS, VIXX, and etc.) try to help them out with that. Their hard efforts to promote HotShot is so amazing and respected in my opinion. Shows these guys are worth the popularity of being a big idol group. They actual respect the grind of what it takes to become a popular idol group. And I respect that and everything they are doing to promote! It's shows they have heart and dedication for KPOP, their fans and each other. I respect them for that!
Correction: *Only* Timo was an SM trainee who left on his own accord. *No* *one* is an ex-YG trainee in HOTSHOT. Starcrew did try a lot during their debut but they didn't play their cards right, though they are quite incompetent at doing their job no doubt about it.

To other people, especially fans of more well known groups, 300K views in a day might be considered nothing, but this is such a huge achievement for us!! As much as I like Wanna one, JBJ, and Uni.B, I can't wait until hotshot has their reunion in 2019. I really want these talented guys to gain the recognition they deserve. Edit: Though I'm still waiting for a reunion, I'll support them in whatever they do individually. Maybe their careers could've risen if their entertainment was able to do better for them.. I'm disappointed and tired of waiting for news to drop because honestly their schedules are always dry. Their entertainment should at least inform us of things as what they are supposed to do but as always the fandom is left hanging. I'm so sad hearing they just disbanded, they really had the potential to go far. Their popularity started rising after Sung Woon and Taehyun appeared on produce 101. Only if their company promoted them better after the show ended. The last songs they dropped was in 2018 so it was expected but this is too upsetting. @@rosydress From my understanding technically they haven't disbanded the group takes breaks according to the label, so that the members can focus on other activities (Timoteo acting & Sungwoon's solo career) and Junhyuk enlisted.

From my understanding there wasn't and it's just that the members are focusing on other solo activities and Junhyuk enlisted in the military. Though I do think it's very likely that Hotshot may disband without any further group comebacks in the future (since they had a whole year to promote them after both Sungwoon and Hojung returned and yet they just focused on Sungwoon's solos 😡😤). However since it's undisclosed at the moment there is still a small bit of hope that they will continue promoting after Junhyuk comes back or in the meantime.

Sungwoon has an exclusive contract with W1 until dec 2018 so he can't do activities with Hotshot but Taehyun is actively promoting with JBJ for 7 months (contract renewable if they do well) and doing activities with Hotshot as well (it seems like he's a quick study so he just have to manage to not get exhausted). I don't know about Timo and Hojung since The Unit only started recently. If one or both are in the final center team, they will promote for 7 months only so Hotshot should be whole again in january 2019 with a lot more fans (I hope) thanks to the boys' efforts.
I hope they don't disband because a lot of group lately have been disbanding due to loss of popularity but i doubt they will because they are all doing really well in there respective groups/shows

New Stan here, I was looking through some jbj infos and it brought me automatically here, because I thought one of the members (the one who was in jbj, sorry, I'm not really familiar with the names yet) had left the group, and whether it's a big group or not, I always feel sorry when the original members part, so I had to check. Because of that, I now know that the 93' liner (yes, weird, I remember his date of birth but not his name) is no longer promoting with jbj due to the group being disbanded... are there any other members promoting in different groups? I've been a fan of Hotshot since their debut and I cant even express how happy and proud I am of them. Tbh Produce101 was the best thing that happened to them, they've got a chance to show people just how incredibly talented and hardworking they are. Though its sad that Sungwoon couldn't join them this time, they've done a really good job. I wish nothing but the best for them. My babies ;'))))
I collect underrated kpop groups and Hotshot is my crown jewel. I was hooked from the first time I heard Take a Shot, and Im soooo glad they're back. The Leader of the group and vocalist :)) He used to train under SM Entertainment! He is the oldest amongst the members. 0:04 is Timotheo (also known as Moonkyu): The Lead dancer, vocalist/rapper as well as the face of the group (STAN TALENT Y'ALL). He used to train under SM with Junhyuk. And he was supposed to debut in EX. But apparently he just go tired of waiting for their debut. This is why Kai knows their group and has been somewhat promoting the group through radio shows. They're also best friends 😭😭😭😭 0:15 is Noh Taehyun but known as Kid Monster (or KIMON) in this group. He's the king of krump dancing, aghh 😫😫😫👏 He is also the Main Dancer of the group as well as the Lead Vocalist and Rapper (PLEASE STAN THIS CUTIE). Taehyun used to train under YG before he went to his current one. Plus their company couldn't promote them bc they're broke af. They lost their staff bc the company couldn't pay their wage and they finally get new staff. Still, what you did is a great work! :)

this song is a style you normally see girl groups attempt rather than boy groups. it's very soft but not too soft. the synth is pretty. and it's kinda funky too. i like it. i'd never listened to hotshot before, but they did a good job here.

The amount of talent in this group is incredible, but they are unable to reach their full potential because their company doesn't have enough money to employ high quality music & mv producers, pay for sets for their perf. stages, even hotshot themselves have to run their sns accounts. The song is really! good! but quite honestly it hasn't been produced correctly (or well enough) (i am a producer btw so i know the quality is lacking), however... I'm so sad hearing they just disbanded, they really had the potential to go far. Their popularity started rising after Sung Woon and Taehyun appeared on produce 101. Only if their company promoted them better after the show ended. The last songs they dropped was in 2018 so it was expected but this is too upsetting. Though I do think it's very likely that Hotshot may disband without any further group comebacks in the future (since they had a whole year to promote them after both Sungwoon and Hojung returned and yet they just focused on Sungwoon's solos 😡😤). However since it's undisclosed at the moment there is still a small bit of hope that they will continue promoting after Junhyuk comes back or in the meantime.

Sungwoon has an exclusive contract with W1 until dec 2018 so he can't do activities with Hotshot but Taehyun is actively promoting with JBJ for 7 months (contract renewable if they do well) and doing activities with Hotshot as well (it seems like he's a quick study so he just have to manage to not get exhausted). I don't know about Timo and Hojung since The Unit only started recently. If one or both are in the final center team, they will promote for 7 months only so Hotshot should be whole again in january 2019 with a lot more fans (I hope) thanks to the boys' efforts.
I hope they don't disband because a lot of group lately have been disbanding due to loss of popularity but i doubt they will because they are all doing really well in there respective groups/shows

I've been a fan of Hotshot since their debut and I cant even express how happy and proud I am of them. Tbh Produce101 was the best thing that happened to them, they've got a chance to show people just how incredibly talented and hardworking they are. Though its sad that Sungwoon couldn't join them this time, they've done a really good job. I wish nothing but the best for them. My babies ;'))))
I collect underrated kpop groups and Hotshot is my crown jewel. I was hooked from the first time I heard Take a Shot, and Im soooo glad they're back. I was and still am Sungwoon biased, but thus is so good, it makes up for his absence. Hojeong will fill his spot in the meantime with his successful appication to the disrespectful maknae club.

First person that comes up is Choi Junhyuk! The Leader of the group and vocalist :)) He used to train under SM Entertainment! He is the oldest amongst the members.
0:04 is Timotheo (also known as Moonkyu): The Lead dancer, vocalist/rapper as well as the face of the group (STAN TALENT Y'ALL). He used to train under SM with Junhyuk. And he was supposed to debut in EX. But apparently he just go tired of waiting for their debut. This is why Kai knows their group and has been somewhat promoting the group through radio shows. They're also best friends 😭😭😭😭
0:15 is Noh Taehyun but known as Kid Monster (or KIMON) in this group. He's the king of krump dancing, aghh 😫😫😫👏 He is also the Main Dancer of the group as well as the Lead Vocalist and Rapper (PLEASE STAN THIS CUTIE). Plus their company couldn't promote them bc they're broke af. They lost their staff bc the company couldn't pay their wage and they finally get new staff. Still, what you did is a great work! :)

this song is a style you normally see girl groups attempt rather than boy groups. it's very soft but not too soft. the synth is pretty. and it's kinda funky too. i like it. i'd never listened to hotshot before, but they did a good job here.

The amount of talent in this group is incredible, but they are unable to reach their full potential because their company doesn't have enough money to employ high quality music & mv producers, pay for sets for their perf. stages, even hotshot themselves have to run their sns accounts.
The song is really! good! but quite honestly it hasn't been produced correctly (or well enough) (i am a producer btw so i know the quality is lacking), however...
The best way to help them right now though is to stream the hell out of this!!!! Support them in any way you can!!

jess Yeah I also feel like the song could have been way better if produced better. I'm not really a producer or any sort of that form in any way but I noticed that their harmonies sounded like "lacking" if that makes sense. They were super epic but it sounds like a little underwhelming, maybe it's me lol

they disbanded and i still cant get over it. i was a hotple (hotshot fandom name) and i waited for them to comeback with sungwoon but yeah, i am so disappointed and sad. i wish them the best but it’s so sad because they have so!! much!! talent!! taehyun and sungwoon, rank A in produce 101 season 2 and became a part of JBJ (taehyun) and W1 (sungwoon). hojung and timoteo, S-rank (highest rank in the unit) and hojung became a part of UNB. lastly, yoonsan and junhyuk composes nice songs. i am sad, but i wish you all the best ❤️
