You are truly amazing. Not just by your work but also your Sensitivity towards someone else’s money, environmental concern, maintenance, detailing... Oh what not. Hats off to your technicality ans bow bend to your humanity
You are amazing ❤ You are wonderful because you explain and give secrets without courses, instead of showing off your abilities as the rest do. You are truly wonderful. Thank you.
Please be nice and respectful with comments and ratings. This is my opinion and I'm sure there are different once out there. This is based on research and experience. Make sure you have all the knowledge. Then you can make your own opinion.
I'm a beginner, & love the simple & constructive way you teach. Also the simplest materials used. Things one can get their hands to easily. I am going to try it now with acrylic paint and school glue and water. Will keep watching out for your videos. Thank you so much.
THANK YOU for the environmental reminders. I was shocked the other day by some irresponsible pourer "reminding" everybody that, "If you don't like it, you can just wash it all off and down the drain!" NOT!
With my first experiments, I realised that I can let dry the rest of the paint in my plastic glasses and peel it. I reuse the same glasses again and again :)
Could you use something called Bristol board? Especially for practicing or when you’re new? I don’t know if it comes In different finishes (smooth, textured, etc) and I don’t know if that’s a factor when you’re picking what you’re painting on.
Thanks. Please have a look at the basic playlist for all the background information you need to understand the concept. Any chosen Pouring medium as mentioned in the video is for keeping the pigment connection together
thank you so much for these information....very useful... i personally let the acrylic paint dry in the cup and then peel it and reuse the plastic cup again ;) and i dont use floetrol i just use glue and a bit of water...thank you again :)
Hello Eleanor :) i'v tried so many type of glue...and i found that the right one should be acid free and dry clear and archival ..it means it wont go yellow....for the consistency it should be like warm honey....not to liquid and not to thick....the brand that i use is not well known..and it's very cheap it's made in Malaysia ... because i live in uae...so try to find a glue with these specifications :) hope this help :)
Thank you for the good information! Cleaning the tools used afterwards is a concern of mine. What is a catalator (if I heard correctly)? And how to clean the tools I've used?
Thank you very much! Today I used a pouring medium and Floetrol, but my colors went a bit lighter. Black went gray!! I don’t know what that happend, mediums doesn’t supose to modify the colors :( do you have any idea why this happened? Love from Spain!
Hey, thank you really much for that amazing information! :) May I ask how the torch model is called you are using? :) *Edit: and second question, would you recommend to use a torch with a rather small flame or a rather big flame (big means starting from ~2.5 cm up to 15 cm)? I'd be really interested in your opinion
Hello thanks for this but i have a question. Where am from we dont have Glue all, is that like wood glue or what? I want to try it out and i think it would be affordable to begin with.
I've never tried it before but I'd like to! Can you use cork board for this?? Also do you have to use the silicone and latex or can you just have the glue/water?
Have a look at the basic playlist and start with the information on how things work and why to get real start up background knowledge. I find that very importantant. Don't think cork works. With glue and water for trying out perhaps but I don't advise it. Check the playlist ;-)
Thank you so much for your video. I'm thinking of give this a try and your video is helping a lot. May I ask if it's really ok to use an heating gun ? My boyfriend doesn't trust me using the torch thing :/ I also hope I can find everything necessary here in Germany. Thank you again :)
Sure. Heatgun is fine. You shouldn't have any issues in Germany. Have a look at the basics playlist for some more crucial background knowledge. enjoy!!!!
maybe we would find you boring if we could hear your voice, there's always the option to stop watching, i see from your profile you aren't into painting, only 1 video, so your just hear to abuse, as mentioned in a previous comment, be RESPECTFUL

I would not use canvas boards if thars what it is. I am not sure what it is you mention. You can also use tiles for exercise. Can even wash it off
GREAR INFO... I AM SO NEW IN THIS... I WONDER WHAT IS THE GLUE HELPFUL FOR?
Thanks. Please have a look at the basic playlist for all the background information you need to understand the concept. Any chosen Pouring medium as mentioned in the video is for keeping the pigment connection together

Marie Myriam Hey, what glue do you use? :)
I made my first pouring with water and a very little bit of liquid soap in it. A cheap way for getting another effect.
Do you have to put a primer like gesso on the canvas first? Does it come out better with or without it?
No you dont. Most canvas are pre- gessoed
Thank you for the good information! Cleaning the tools used afterwards is a concern of mine. What is a catalator (if I heard correctly)? And how to clean the tools I've used?
Catlitter. ;-) The stuff cats do pi in..it soaks up water / paint in this case . Tools can be cleaned with water
Thanks so much for your quick response! Ok, good idea, cat litter. ;)@@PouringArtExperience
Hi, at 7:08 what is meant by archival version?
Longlasting without colour or structual change
Does it matter if you use matte gloss satin craft paint when you are doing a pour?
ud
Not really. Just need acrylic paint and of course the result after drying will look different
Thank you very much! Today I used a pouring medium and Floetrol, but my colors went a bit lighter. Black went gray!! I don’t know what that happend, mediums doesn’t supose to modify the colors :( do you have any idea why this happened?
Love from Spain!
Well. In mixed State it might look grey as floetrol is white. But should clear up when dry
👍

*Edit: and second question, would you recommend to use a torch with a rather small flame or a rather big flame (big means starting from ~2.5 cm up to 15 cm)? I'd be really interested in your opinion
Its not a specific model. Just look for a creme brule kitchen torch
Hello thanks for this but i have a question. Where am from we dont have Glue all, is that like wood glue or what?
I want to try it out and i think it would be affordable to begin with.
Yes any waterbased transparent drying will do then
I have heard about people using rubbing alcohol, and I think its used for the same idea as silicone. Is it?
Yes but doesnt work very good
I've never tried it before but I'd like to!

FluidArtbySantanaHagedorn - thank you so much 😍
Is there any difference in canvas quality? Like regular Walmart canvas vs other store canvases?
There is. Mostly visible in gramm. But for pouring its not as important as for painting
Plastic cups end up in the ocean- hope they are recycled. Using glass or biodegradable is best. Thank you!
You write all this you didn’t even link the material below
Yeah i didnt "even" do that. Applogies. I hope you can write it down from the video
Plastic cups ? What about climate change !
Coca cola doesn't bother with that 😅
Talk to much is boring
It’s for beginners of course you need to understand hence the talking
