Background with the song is the following an Austrian named Josef Fritzl locked his daughter in a hidden room in the basement for 24 years. He raped her several times during the years and 7 children were born. He took 3 of them upstairs to his wife and claimed that they had been placed in front of the door. The wife claims not to have noticed anything. 3 stayed with the daughter and one died a few days after birth. I can only echo another Reactor and say how you can do such a thing to your own daughter.
I'm from Germany and only found out years later that the song is about this case, also with the song "Mein Teil" I only found out the background years later. I also heard that Rammstein asked the victim for permission before releasing the song, with "Mein Teil" they couldn't ask the victim anymore. Because my English is not good I use a translator here.
