Tried for some moster Lakers, but only got a few medium lakers hahaha. m It was all still AMAZING and for my first trip there to be able to kayak fish it was awsome.
Fishing from a kayak takes some multitasking!
How long it take you to paddle to isle royale ? 🤪
Hahaha we took the ferry 🤣. Yes it does and the filming adds a whole nother thing kinda a pain trying to keep my huge Lakers hoop net on the front with my cam boom but I make it work

I’ve been kicking around getting a kayak for couple years , for me to mostly fish when the ramps are iced up or to put in where there is open water in the winter months on superior.
I really enjoy your content so keep up your good work and keep the kayak upright!!!😂👊🏻
@@wishiniwasfishin8164 thanks man it has been interesting for sure and life this last year mule kicked me sideways so didn't get many videos out but hopefully will pick up here especially for the fall fishing. I would extremely suggest a yak! I love mine and would suggest all the 12+ft oldtowns but there are a lot of good yaks on the market. This was also on my bucket list and my first trip there was amazing.

What bait?
For which fish? The hot bait was a 3.0mag lip metallic gold flame. Got a few on a dragonslayer flasher with a frog fly.
