I'm still watching the video but here's some advice. 1: don't panic, you might WANT to run but don't, it will draw attention to you and cause the silence to spawn. It will do everything possible to get you to panic. 2: avoid forests and snow biomes, deserts from my personal experience are your best bet as he won't spawn too often. I can't speak for the other biomes. But feel free to ignore this for the video, but some good advice for new people playing for the first time XD. 3: if you hear the music box sound, you get slowness, or anything else, it might be best to stand still for a few minutes, I have gotten mixed results. 4: Don't trust ANY sounds you hear, it will make random sounds to try to trick you. For example a sheep when your under ground. Also it's best to not block yourself in as you won't be able to run. The mod is unsettling, but you can survive if you are careful.
