Prob not gonna be able to have another meet up video for a little while due to this virus. What kind of videos do you want to see in the mean time?
Go to wuhan and do 100 dollar competitions
@@jimmybaker4821 nope
lol just do another video and if you get stuck in quarantine just say whatever
Nick Symmonds good video.
Maybe show some indoor exercises we can do
Normal people: ride bikes at a bmx track Nick: I’m going run on it
I'm going to ruin it*
We know...
We just saw the video!
Bruh
SAS 001 its a joke DUMBASS!
DeadlyDeadleth you stupid
That’s me running them
“Are y’all excited?!?!”
“yeah...”
haha guess they weren't as excited as me :D
Modern children are spoiled lazy people, in the nineties of 20 cen we could only dream that someone from the elders would hold competitions for us
I would've been very excited! I loved running as a kid!
Alex Noor that’s a bad assumption. You’re clearly just jealous of them
@@skyla-idiot jealous of them? ROFL Why do you think so? They are just ungrateful bastards, that is all
13:51 Nick has his own product selling at the store while decked out in his run gum clothes. Baller move 👌
Watching this as some bad news hit me, the marathon that I have been training for 6 months got canceled due to the virus, this video lifted my spirits up, keep up the good work
now you have even more time to train for the next one
Don't get discouraged. Keep training!
keep running!
Bigger mileage base for the next race my man!
Fastest any distance on tread mill? Video on about what’s the difference between treadmill and outdoor running
NickJ964 i feel like running really fast on a treadmill would be unsafe but maybe that’s just me
I’m scared to run any faster than 6mph on the treadmill, I hate it. Boring af too.
Yessss
It hurts my soul to see people fall in a race😢
me too!!
In a track meet: yes. In this: no!
Same I’m just like “oh oh oh oh no get up c’mon c’mon you got this” 😂
Well if I see them, that means I was behind them, which means I will pass them, which means I will place better, therefore I like seeing people fall
Oscar looks like the mid distance version of Matthew boling
Oscar for Tokyo 2020 🥇
Olympics are cancelled lol
@@neilbantwal5556 The Olympics did not cancel or postpone as of right now.
@@neilbantwal5556 The virus cannot survive over 26C temperature so I think by the time Olympic Games would be fine.
JasonHuan That’s not true. Scientists are not sure if temperature affects the virus. They do know that SOME viruses spread more easier in colder months for example the flu. Don’t go spreading fake information if you haven’t done your research.
@@jasonhuan3228 its been that in louisiana and the virus is still spreading
Badass race course, reminds me of doing mall runs in HS where we would avoid security and shoppers. Quite the obstacle challenge and run it fast
We used to do those too!!!

7:51 caught the guy in the back looking 😂😂
And?
And? Whats ur point.
Jon Levi she got a big booty
Jon Levi there is no point. It’s literally an observation calm down
@@Jonathan-wj6uh that my friend is why he's in the back.
Nick you should do the miracle mile: It's four all out 400s with a 5 min break in between and then you add up your 400 times and that's your miracle mile time
Also, I'm ecstatic because I'm a freshman in hs and just made varsity track
Good job making varsity!
@@calebbliss6588 Thanks man!
monkey mohta congrats! I’m a senior and only recently have I got into running seriously.
@@samuelh1766 Thanks! Also, stick with running!
Yea senior track runner finally a breakout season and it gets canceled to a virus. Enjoy it while it pasts
What an awesome experience it must be for these kids to be able to race against a former Olympian!! Something like this would have made my year as a kid. Awesome job Nick!!
U should chalange a Marine to a mile run
yesssssss
I bet they'd be around 5:30
@Randy Marsh Lol no
That would be sick!
@Randy Marsh Yes I have. They could not keep up an effort like that.
I saw the title and thumbnail and my first thought was how fun that sounds. Way to make racing creative and challenging for everyone
7:52 the guy in the white shirt isn’t even trying to hide that he’s looking😂
Lol.
Looking at that 🎂
Chris Toala simp
That course looks easy on camera but I can only imagine the hills and sharp turns...
It hurts my soul to see people fall in a race😢
The way the editor did him at 10:37, oof bless and hope he's good XD
So I’ve been doing the 800m 5 times a week, and it helped me improved on my 400m dash. I got a 59.6s last year, now it’s a sub 56s. Thank you, Nick!
5:41
Nick: I love their attitude, they love to compete
Kid in red:
You should go to the olympics trials and do this if they aren’t canceled
"They love to compete"
*Shows them walking
5:13 Very glad he didn’t say “You know I love kids”
Wow you guys were getting through the track pretty fast! About a year into racing bmx on my home track my average times were around 45 seconds! About 5 years into the sport my record is 33.2 seconds, which is quite fast, but still way closer to running than you would think
0:26 -- their brains said yes, but their hearts said no...
You literally have the coolest video ideas ever! You are a freaking inspiration to us all!
That's so smart that the shoe store has a treadmill!
Hattie Waltermire Sports-Shoe specific stores when I’m from that’s pretty standard, they film your stride, foot placement, pressure points and angle too and can use these details to recommend and provide the best shoe for your running style. Pretty awesome as there’s no extra cost, just the rrp of the shoes.
It's for testing shoes and gait analysis. Bad shoe store = no treadmill.
The good ones always have a treadmill
@@timhanby5662 wow!
Wow I really enjoyed this dude. The thought of a short and challenging 400m/800m course would be really cool to see more of! Imagine XC but mid-distance!
Nick you rock! Such a great video. So much fun. Loved seeing the kids race. You are such a great ambassador for the sport.
That dad in the back of the pack on the race to get into the finals it’s so cool to see him out there and no ones giving him respect ✊
0:27 they were obviously very excited
7th comment but why not cuz this comment will get liked by symmonds anyway
correct!
Vernon Tan god himself
Been binging your content, just subbed! You got some Quality Content!
Thank you Tyler! More videos coming sooon
Love this video. Good idea. Great interaction with the running public. Huuuuge teaching moment in several ways.
Another great idea! Super entertaining to watch. Keep the creativity going and I will make sure to watch and like each video!!
Breath in energy, Exhale relaxation.
Nick Symmonds. Genius.
Great video Nick! You’ve been an absolute inspiration to me and I’ve been improving a lot because of it. Cheers, hopefully I can do well in my cross country in seven weeks 🙏🙏🙏 thanks Nick!!
Great vid bro! Nice to support your fans
In the meantime itd be cool to see any sort of core or PT that you do. Maybe even some meal plans/ some of your favorite post running snack
That looks like FUN! I think maybe a new official event? Short course XC? Like Bordercross but for running.
This is the race i’ve enjoyed watching the most... sure wanted to try it out.. hope to see more of these..
brilliant video just rewatched Rudisha beat the 800 meter world record and saw u in it aswell what a talented athlete u are
Really cool concept! Looked fun. Thanks for a little levity during this damn virus scare. Props to all you guys and gal for stepping up.
This was probably my favorite vid yet! I’ll bet this was a blast to run!
Changing the rules midway through, I think you owe a bunch of hundies to all that beat your time.
Yeah it’s kinda not fair that he gave that first guy the money and then left everyone else that beat him with nothing
@@MissPinkyLover101 @woody369 it’s because the last group was from the track team. Most of the races he only gives out two $100 bills to the winners or shoes. You have to limit payouts for future videos unless you’re mrbeast.
43 seconds is a really good time. He definitely earned those shoes
THIS IS SO COOL! I have been thinking of this as a real comp forever, human MX, get some parkour guys and go hardcore
Nick: Are you guys excited!?!
Kids: Yeah
The winner is pretty talented. Good Run
That was fun to watch. Thank you for posting.
I made my schools track team as an 800 and 1600 runner thanks so much for all your information I love ur vids
That is fantastic!! Well done and thank you for watching my videos!
Nick Symmonds 😳 thanks for responding your the best !
Nice! If these plane tickets stay cheap, I’m definitely coming to the next meet up! Keep doing you man!
collegiate 400m sprinter here! this track looks so fun i wish i could have been there
An obstacle course would be fun. Perhaps some hay bales to go over, a belly crawl under low netting, a water or mud pit...what else?
Nice nick!! good way to promote sport and competition
I love your videos in general. I am a past my prime former university track athlete. I still love running, training, and lifting though I am often liking for ways to keep said activities fun and interesting. You, and your videos epitomize that. This one looks wildly fun and I may do some skate park sprints or bmx course sprints at some point for fun.
This channel is so pure , so fresh how can anyone dislike this💕
This looks like a blast. Would love to see middle distance versions of cross country races become a thing.
Love love LOVE this video, Nick! God I wish I lived in Eugene.
Also, love that you featured the kiddos! 👍🏽
That Oscar kid low key cute
Gaaaay
Gaeeeiiiiyyy
i could just imagine after the video nick saying
"can i have the shoes back now"
it would be cool to have a cross country race on such terrain ahahaha. Keep it up Nick your videos are pretty nice, you show the best part of running with your community : competitivness, surpassesing oneself and companionship, Greetings from France.
I was originally just gonna skip to see who won in the end, but I ended up watching this all the way through, while doing homework. That's great content.
This video was fairly entertaining, got me to laugh a few times, great way to switch it up !
Nick: They love to compete , they love to get after it
Kids: *Walking*
I love it when I see the kids running too!
THAT'S MY BROTHER!! @JACK #proudsista
Great to start to my weekend with a video from Nick :)
Dang i wanna live in the US, watching from Puerto Rico🤜🏽🤛🏽👋
0:27 killing the vibe bigtime
You are a great man, i like the way you motivates people to run
Keep doing good job!!
Respect for the old man who fell down but kept running
one thing to say, Nick your awesome. Way to get these kids some running experience, one may catch the running bug and continue.
Nick....just be sure to wash your hands. All "G". Keep the videos coming. This virus is over hyped.
The guy who fell he probably would have gotten 46 seconds.
i want to run on this bmx course after watching this 😂
"Are you excited?" "Uh, yeah?"
LOL
Infinity React are by far the best running shoes I've own. I'm a heavy guy, 233lbs, and ran my 5k in 24:45 min.
I'm not a runner but this stuff so fun to watch. you always have great energy.
I came from italy and I can't train because of coronavirus. (We mustn't go out)😥😥😥
But i can watch Nick's video🤣🤙
Great videos dude! Been watching them alot recently and your content are always different from the ones on RUclips!
Great video as always nick!
Great video Nick!.. Love seeing you compete against other runners....especially when they beat you!!.. 😂😂😂😂x
This was the best challenging video
Very entertaining, thank you for posting! We love your videos

Love your channel. No sports so we need something to watch.

You ever thought about adding some field events to your list of PRs? Ide love to see how you do in the long jump or maybe some throwing events
I race at that track and have been to there gold cup races it’s so fun I’m from Washington
Very Entertaining, Nick!
Hey nick 1st of all big fan of u in ur day, and an even bigger fan of what ur doing here with ur channel, I think u gonna discover some hidden talent out there that could easy slip thru the net by bringing fun running to the streets or the track. I really hope this discovers that hidden talent that is most definitely out there. Cause lots of kids probably think that to get involved u need a track near by, coaches ect. I discovered I was a fast runner at 12yrs old by doing the part of the men's training for Gaelic football, I started by collecting footballs that were kick way off the pitch n wud kick them back to the men training. And when they done sprints, I couldn't believe it but I would beat them all nearly all the time. At the time I lived very much in the middle of no where in Co Kerry Ireland so I had absolutely nothing else to do and it was them men that said I sud be training with an athletic team or something. Then at age 13yrs (1988) I still don't know how this happened, but there was a kid at my school who was the all ireland 100m champion at u12s and he and his father called to my sisters house 1 sunday n asked wud I like to come to an open Athletics meeting in Tralee Co Kerry, so I got into the back of the car not really knowing what I was going to? They entered me into the boys u13 yrs old 100m. I didn't even have trainer as we were to poor to have my single mother pay out for such a thing, so I had to run barefoot, I came in 2nd and got a trophy for my efforts and then selected for a B team relay which we came 3rd so I got another but smaller trophy n it was that day I was asked to come train with Listowel AC on Tuesday n Thursday which eventually led to me becoming a National senior Champion at 200m in 1997 and in 1999 I took silver in both 100m n 200m at the nation champs and was able to run under 11 seconds for the 100m and 22sec for the 200m. I hope u find that kid that was close to being in my position in 1988 and goes on to enjoy a life of Athletics there after. I'm so happy I discovered Athletics it helped me in many ways in life and still am a huge fan of the sport and of what ur doing too. I just had to share that story with it might help inspire other kids near u to come take part as u just never know. Cheers Nick ur doing a great job, Carry on my man. 🏃♀️🇨🇮🏅🙏🏃♀️🇨🇮
Cool you should do this or the pacer test some other time this is so cooooool
You should come to Baton Rouge Louisiana and go to Highland road park, it’s where all the high school xc races are
Somehow I doubt that Nick went all-in for the race :D
great inspiration for new runners, you make it look fun :) ! Keep up the good work !
400m cross country race - nice blend of seasons
I dont even run track but these videos are so interesting
