Just ordered my prescription Holbrook Ti sunglasses. Had no clue these existed until this morning. Holbrooks have always been my favorite Oakley frame and I have been looking to order a pair of prescription sunglasses for a while now so once I saw these I knew I had to have them. I went with the matte gunmetal frames and black iridium prism polarized lenses. All I have to say is thank god for Oakley SI! 🤘🏼
Damn they don't offer the gunmetal frame color anymore. That's exactly how I wanted mine but I settled for the satin chrome instead of satin pewter. I LOVE gunmetal color!
Last Titanium Oakley I bought was Crosshair Ti. Had Oakley had the genius idea of making Ti versions of *Inmate and Badman.* I would have went for them. Sold my Romeo 1 Bone finish and Plasma. I kinda thought I'm getting old for the futuristic looks and them leaving pressure marks on my nose bridge after wearing them.
Thanks for giving insight on the new TIs. My only issue is that I wish their nosepads weren't clear. I hope they don't yellow in time.. it just would have been a wiser choice for them to be black. Regardless, I think I'll pick up a pair of these. I have the Holbrook Metal Prizms and these look like a refined version of them.

But I had to fight the urge for a long time before I finally got over it.. then these came and I just had to grab a pair.. They are in stores if you want to check them out, may be there's a chance for you to change the nose pads.. I forgot to see if that is even an option..
The metal ones you have are Prizm lenses. I really like the metal look of them. However, the all black ones come with Prizm and Polarized lenses. I'm loving the silver, but the all black have an additional polarized effect. Now, I do have the Oakley Holstons which are both Prizm and Polarized and I do have to say they are amazing. Because of this I need help. Should I sacrifice polarized for the silver look? Or should I stick with the all black and get the best of Prizm and Polarized?
comes down really to what u like and what your preference is.. the intent and only function for polarized lenses is to reduce glare from any source of light (the sun, light reflections coming off objects, etc); prizm on the other hand has less emphasis on glares and more on enhancing and contrasting the colors. Dependent on lens tinting and sport specification whether the sport/event benefits having a glare or not. It has multiple variations depending on what u need it for: prizm snow, prizm everyday and prizm sport (too many in the sport to write down). With prizm it's sport/event specific. Some sport/events need glare and some dont but the lens will always enhance and improve the color contrasting of the environment. The only real reason why I gave up polarized is coz its annoying. Why? Some of the technology we use in our daily lives already have polarized: old cars' windows, gas station monitors, cell phones, cell phone screen protectors, even card readers where you have to put your pin in, etc. And when polarized tint/screens are being looked at with glasses that also has polarized lenses those black spots or "blind" spots as I want to call them appears, and thats annoying as hell. I'm sure you've had that experience, correct? But to each their own, at the end of the day it's really up to preference. I hope that answers your question 🙏🏽✊🏽
The oakley metals frame is so sharp that it practically cuts my ears and if you're not careful picking it up it almost cuts your fingers lol. But I might order these in the sapphire lenses, they look sweet.
yeahzzir i actually felt exactly what you mentioned about the metals when I was trying them on in-store.. the sapphires on these look cold 🙏🏽🫡 love em!
@shadesnsoles Hey man wanted to ask. Did you have any issues with these sitting too close to your eyes or feeling crooked, getting bent at all or are they pretty solid fits like regular holbrooks?

I tried on the bronze with tungsten prizm and damn they look good, didn’t buy them yet because I was hoping to see gunmetal ones (I owned the Holbrook Metal in GM before but has issues with lenses cracking so I resorted to regular)
What is not clear; did you do a side by side comparison of the original Holbrook and the Holbrook Ti? It’s difficult to know how those two compare in real life, they didn’t have the Holbrook Ti in the Covent Garden store
your style, your fashion, your choice.. if it is within your rotation to have big lenses for glassess then it would just be the same for every other one you would have. And if in doubt, you can always check them out in store and try them on if they are/aren't good for you size wise.. let me know how it goes..

Real sharp, I ordered them at my Oakley store. They didn’t have them in stock and I got the “Satin Toast” color.

Is there any rubberized material on the arms where it grabs your head on the arms or just metal against the side of your head?
titanium only but carved out very smoothly.. unlike the holbrook metals which were sharp on the edges, these are very smoothly sculpted..
