The audio has been released and multiple times the helicopter pilot stated he had VISUAL of the flight coming in. Some REAL EXPERTS in aviation have speculated the pilot had the plane following in approach, sighted a mile out, not the plane directly next to them, they assumed the wrong sight visual. Like when you pull out of a side street but failed to see the car in front of you, but only the car a few feet further back.

I am surprised that US Blackhawks lack CVRs and CFRs as other countries do incorporate these units into military aircraft.
