With all respect that I owe to the old groups and even to those of today, during my life, and I am no longer very young (72) I have never seen or heard a better guitar duo than the one created by Midori and Miyako.
agreed - i'm coming up on 71 and feel the same. saw the allman bros. early in 1971 with all of the members still alive. betts and duane on guitars and they had magic but more on the blues side. as far as sheer technical mastery m+m can do it all. it's like the female equivalent of having satriani -midori - and clapton or gary moore - miyako - in one band
@@thedocofrock1890Completely agree with what you say. Let me give you 2 links below. The first shows Miyako playing Gary Moore's Parsienne Walkways and some Gary Moore fan reactors had a little tear. The second shows Miyako playing, alone on the piano, Eagle fly free from Helloween and I think you will be blown away by Miyako's world class talent on the piano. It's as breathtaking as what she does with a guitar. I would like to point out that I love the 4 other young women in the Lovebites group. Obviously !

the confidence they have on stage astounds me every time. they can do that so flawlessly in front of thousands of people and never miss a note and just give smiles as they do it as if nothing bothers them. haruna grins at the drum cam and just flips her sticks in your face. cutest drummer on earth. although megu sagurakawa of ROSELIA runs a real close second. great drummer that grins ear to ear constantly and kills the skins. they are another band of beauties from the land of the rising sun that should get more attention. they are another great live band - not quite on the level of LOVEBITES but who is ? : ruclips.net/video/_mLJ9QHTnA0/видео.html
This might be the most under rated song they have, and this live performance is pure perfection, Miyako and Midori both playing some of their very best solos. I am still in awe of this whole concert, those audience members were so lucky to have been there, even if this was the only song played, it still would have been worth being there. 🎸🎸🥁🎤🎹🔥🤘

This whole set was after a long covid lockdown and break from playing live. It was immediately apparent that Miyako and Midori spent all their time in home studio practicing because they were markedly better than they were before the lockdown, not that they weren't great before, but it was just more polished.
They have only gotten better since, which is spectacular for us.
It's relatively simple song, and most bands would have played it that way. But they fill it with such incredible leads, Haruna's drum fills, and of course those gorgeous solos, it's extraordinary. Thanks for continuing with Lovebites!

Don't think this song gets nearly the love or exposure it deserves ! From Asami playing the piano and killing the vocals through the intricate guitar solos and baseline to Haruna having the time and skill to twirl her stick while playing some insane fills - all round great song !

ah yeah i wanted to ask you this. Who do you prefer as vocalist of Nightwish. Floor Jansen or Tarja Turunen? i mean i can also say Anette Olzon but she didnt had that much of a operatic voice as those other 2. as a Dutchman i have to go with Floor ofc haha. but Tarja turunen is amazing she build this band. and i love literally everything about her vocal style. and ofc her own music project is amazing as well.
Interesting question 😊 I've been thinking about this for a while. I myself discovered the band when Anette was the singer. Sure, I had heard some songs from Tarja's time before, but my life was too busy for music then. I would love to divide Nightwish into different eras and soloists. Beautiful Tarja and what a voice, Anette's time and some kind of confusion, Floor somehow brought everything into balance and it can be seen especially at Wacken's 2013 gig. Despite everything, my favorite is From Wishes to Eternity from Tampere's Pakkahuone. The original lineup on stage and everyone having fun on stage. I can't directly say which of the singers would be the best, each in their own way 😀🤘🏻

i couldnt agree with you more. although i have to say that i didnt really listen much to the Anettes time. but they made some great songs just not something typical nightwish fans would liked. too bad though because she got a great voice just not really suitable for nightwish. But yeah i couldnt agree with you more. all 3 eras have their pros and cons. if you want to listen to some older band of Floor Jansen listen to Revamp. its a metal band from ofc the netherlands as well. but it was created in her more darker period in her life. i think you will enjoy it as well. they didnt made much music but you can find some on youtube.
