JoC is one of my all time favorite bands (and that goes across the board!) But if you think they're amazing, you should check out their inspiration! (Christ himself!) Grace to you, Glory to God!
Um, I duon't know what you're hearing dude, but it's been almost completely reworked! Even the chord progression has been changed slightly, and it's the one element of this version that's closest to the studio version.
Can I teach you where this passion comes from and see if its contagious and you catch the passion? message me anytime, any day and I would love to hear your story and share what it is that they say is the one thing that they know... my name's Derrick :)
I wish Jars Of Clay didn't sell out though. They should have stuck to their original sound. This is the kind of music that will grab the secular crowds. Not so much the stuff the play on the Christian radio stations. That's more for people who are saved already. Not even that really cause I don't like the music they play on the Christian stations.
Their first album is ageless, i still listen to it and causes me goosebumps. They had a number of great songs after that but were never able to produce another masterpiece.
I agree that most of their stuff after their debut album sucks, but if they basically wrote the same album for 20 years it'd get just a LITTLE stale don't you think?
its 2020 and this band is still one of my all time favorites!
I'm no longer a Christian, but I still love their music.

The song disappear is a favorite of mine. I’d love to get a tattoo that tells that story;)
Cool band. Sounds
I've always thought that the hardest thing by far about being in a band is what he says from 0:05 -0:07.
This au ustic sound is a blessing 2 me💜
Jesus come soon!
We enjoy it
I CAN'T UNDERSTAND WHAT THEY SAY AT THE BEGINNING OF THE MUSIC, SOMEONE COULD WRITE IN THE COMMENTS FOR ME PLEASE.. HUG AND GOD BLESS YOU

You didn't pay attention to the studio version then. This version has a bigger organ sound to it, and there's no electric bass in the mix either.

i agree, and i'm all for diversity in music, but the problem is that their music became like too loud, like in "dead man" or "revolution".
Jean Salinas not true . Good monsters
Jean Salinas what have you been listening too? almost every album was amazing . Good monsters especially and 11th hour
i like it my message on my email. He didn't die for nothing
sure, it is more of an 'unplugged' version. Nothing radically different
they just sang this in slow motion...didn't really change it
