I tell ya. I am so jealous of how quiet that thing is. My little subcompact Hinomoto is deafening. And she’s cold natured AF. Sweet old tractor you got there…blow by and all.
Glad to hear you all are ok.. that was a rough string for all of you.. we had some relatives that lost their home in Florida, everyone was ok.. the house can be rebuilt
What an awesome old tractor! Love seeing things from the era when "2000" sounded super futuristic. (Also love what appears to be some kind of ATV/Go-kart parked in the background there)
You gotta love shiny new parts! 👍 Even if they are from the jungle website. I sure do miss my old Ferguson tractor. It was needing too much repair that i couldn't give it, like an engine and transmission rebuild for starters. It still ran, but smoked like an oil rig fire. And there were tons of metal shavings in the fluids. Anywho......thanks for sharing, Jay! Have a Happy Thanksgiving!
Happy Thanksgiving David! As you see this too is a heavy smoker, but no metal debris in the oil. Just fogs for mosquitoes 😆 I’ve thought about tearing it down and getting someone to sleeve it and rework the head. But I don’t think it’s worth all the trouble. It does exactly what I need it to do now.
"Down below". You know,... I just had to. ;) 40f is just a bit cold for painting, but keep you doing what needs done before Freezing sets in. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your's, and fans Everywhere.

It’s been converted to a GM style alternator. It originally would have used a generator. But this style alternator has been used by GM for decades across many different cars/trucks/vans etc
Glad old blue ford was easy to work on,in the spring I’m going to be working on both my scooters to do some light repairs on them and happy early thanksgiving bud, hope things are well with your family and friends

Hi Jay I hope you and your family have a great Thanksgiving.
Good to see ya Jay!👍
I could almost hear the theme to Green Acres while you were riding that tractor.

Awesome video. I have never worked on a tractor only little riding mowers but it’s cool to see they are not much different than a small engined car ❤

I find it interesting that your Ford tractor uses the same Alternator my 92 Oldsmobile had lol

It's nice and warm here in Cocoa Beach. We are expecting 3-6 inches of sun!
Happy Thanksgiving 🦃 Jay

Ah hell yea. Happy holodays bro! Thanks for the vids
A block heater would sure help that engine cranking. Your probably right on the starter being weak too
Hi Jay hope you are doing good and happy Thanksgiving to you and your family
My anecdotal experience - diesel and gas engines I've had that are greasy and oily tend to run forever LOL. Just start 'em every now and then.
❤
I would paint the grill white.
Hot fries in Mcdoobyfirkins? Does not compute!
Nice !
