I’m amazed, I started yoyoing about a year ago, I had to do sooo much research, I watched up to 4 different videos and this is the only video that explains all the specifications.
Been playing kendama for a while and decided to mix it up by getting into yoyo. @@Gentrystein I need help with how to get YoYo response pads that don't make my yoyo responsive. I have a problem where my unresponsive yo-yo is responding to binds a little too well so it is becoming responsive. I lubed the bearing and it didn't seem to work. Please help

Important point to mention is that mineral spirits or acetone or whatever, they are all solvents which dissolve oils. So if you over-oil your bearing, toss it right back in your little shot glass of acetone and it's like hitting reset.
Congrats to Courtnay! Thanks for the maintenance vid, Gentry. I'm curious, do you not remove the C clip and shields of your bearings? Also, I find when the shield is left off you can actually spin the bearing on a removal tool (or tweezers!) then blow into it while spinning and often I can get some dust out, without using a cleaning solution. Just close your eyes the moment you blow, as the dust can fly off in any direction LOL. Anyway, this is handy if you don't have any cleaner around or just need a quick refresh and don't have time for a full clean (still adding lube afterwards). But for this to work, you do want to have bearings exposed with the shields off. Maybe is there a reason to avoid removing the shields?
for some reason Acetone leaves some white coating on my bearings, however IPA does not remove old oil as well, so I do two washes, acteone first and then IPA. IPA removes that coating without a problem.
My yo-yo factory Arrow responsive bearing has become unresponsive, do I use the same lube or is there a different one for responsive bearings ? Thanks in advance

I wouldn't recommend taking the bearing shields off. This can cause more issues because particles can get back into the bearing easier.

They are all made of the same material. Some people will claim they are different, but they aren't.

My Yo-Yo is the n-11 so I don't think I can take the bearing out so how do I replace it?
Does it matter the color of the pads because I changed the pads on my replay from blue to white and it's now responsive

just put a rag over the bearing and then grab some needle-nose pliersand loosen it. Or you could provide force from the inner part.
