If you notice under the front seat there is a metal "eye", kind of like a locking hasp. When you put the front seat down you can snap a padlock on it from the back seat area. This will keep your battery and spare tire and tools from getting stolen.
Congratulations on the new Bajaj Max Z. I got mine in 2022. We call ours the "Max". I tell people that the Max is the one to get if you can afford it, as it is the most expensive. It is also larger. I have hauled as many as 9 people and two dogs. Did the dealer teach you how to do the "Bajaj shake" for when it gets stuck in gear and you can't get it to neutral for starting? Please ask me if you have that problem and I can explain how to do it. Very easy once you learn how. By the way, keep the radio dry as it is not water proof. If yo park in the rain and wind then do something to keep water out of it. I am retired, from the U.S.. Now living in Bataan. I had some problems with my Max at first but it has come to be very reliable. By the way, be sure you always turn off the auxiliary power switch, the one that runs the radio. If you leave it on for more than a few days the battery will run down.
@@roadtothephilippines8644 The Bajaj is a good machine. The big problem is that the dealers do not tell you many of the things you need to know. For example, did they show you the storage compartment above the windshield? I found that on my own. The "Bajaj shake" is the most important thing to know about: If it stalls in a gear and you can't move the shifter to neutral in order to start the engine then do this: Hold in the clutch lever, put firm but gentle pressure on the twist shift in the direction of neutral and then while holding tight to the handle bars swing your body forward and back hard enough to get the wheels to roll a little bit. This will free the transmission to allow the shifter to move to neutral. Forcing it into neutral will break the shift cable mechanism. I had to learn this on my own and it was a problem because my driveway at the time was mud. Much easier to do on a paved road. Every new owner of a Bajaj has had this problem and the dealers keep the solution a big secret. I do not understand why. Anyway, the longer you have your Max the more you will learn to like it.
Good video! Kicking around getting one of these for the family in Biliran. I'm nowhere near ready to pull the trigger on a truck over there yet. Wife and I are back and forth between California and the province (6-months each). Nobody has a drivers license there when I'm gone, and I have to be sure this thing would still be in one piece when I get back there... ;-) I may have to stipulate someone gets licensed and can properly maintain this thing. How is this thing on hills? We're kinda up in the mountains. Headed over the week after Thanksgiving here in California. Stay Safe over there.
If it’s just you and your wife going up those mountain roads, you’re fine. But if you load that thing up to full capacity… well… someone may have to get out and walk some 😄. Not much horsepower in those things!! But I still love ours. 😊
They have no house in Casiawa anymore becoz it was demolish becoz the owner of the lot may use it, he has his sisters and sister in law there in new murcia and brgy site sir in Matanao.
Don't know much about this 2024 model, but I can tell you these things are very popular for transportation (in lieu of a car) all along Mindanao. Cars are expensive; whereas this thing is very cheap. To much vibration for myself however. If I were on a budget and only traveled locally I MIGHT consider it though, but I doubt it.
They are definitely reliable and convenient to have for hauling stuff for short distances. I wouldn’t want to take it too far for home 😁. We really like ours and I’m happy that Irene got over her fear of driving one 😊
I've been seriously looking into buying one i just been dragging my butt, i think it would be fun to own one and tool around. I live in Butuan. I even have an ideal about Ac for it. If you're interested in talking about it i would like to bounce my thoughts to you. Iam a retired electrician and have some ideals.
Oh, and be sure always to take off the parking brake BEFORE you start the engine. EVERYONE who ever drives the Bajaj forgets and drives with the parking brake on at least once. So if you get in the habit of taking off the parking brake before you start the engine you will avoid this very common mistake. And as you start to drive get in the habit of reaching down and making sure the parking brake is off. Trust me on this, a very easy mistake to make.
It is pronounced Baha in Spanish. But for whatever reason (depending on who you ask) it’s pronounced Baja. Idk 🤷🏼♂️. That’s just what Irene’s youngest sister’s husband told me. He’s an engineer, so I would guess he knows what he’s talking about 😁

Wow 😮. Thanks for all the great advice! I truly appreciate that!! I haven’t had any problems with it yet. I’m sure I will eventually, unfortunately 😣

Not sure about the whole AC thing, but they are definitely fun to just tool around locally 😁
Did you look at the TVS version?
I sure didn’t. I had been wanting one of these Bajaj’s for quite awhile now. I wasn’t interested in looking at anything else
It looks like they are cheaper
I guess I should have shopped around. Oh well. Next time
@@roadtothephilippines8644Probably, Piaggio is also available, they are the originals.
Ohh okay 👌🏼. Good to know 😊
Need a sound system next
What chu think’n?? Rockford Fosgate subs and Kenwood amps and disc changer?? 🤪🤪🤪
Can you drive that to Davao ? To far i think Digos yes not so far .
I could, but it would be a long trip. I would never do it, but I’m sure some people would

it released already in manila, and it has a new design panel and engine.

Danny, I pronounce it, Baha. In Spanish, the j is pronounced as an h. It is good to know that I mispronounced it.

You are incorrect. The Bajaj RE has a 200 cc motor. The Maxima has a 236 cc motor.
Thanks for correcting me. Much appreciated 😁👍🏼
