Village on the Square Theater Group Presents: "GUNSMOKE - OLD-TIME RADIO"
Residents of Three Pillars Senior Living Communities enjoyed a nostalgic audio dramatization of the classic "Gunsmoke" radio show. The afternoon began with lively fun in the Gunsmoke Saloon, where attendees took part in western games, music, and drinks, setting the stage for a rootin' tootin' good time.
After the pre-show festivities, everyone mosied over to the community room, where they were transported back to the Old West. Even though the production was a radio dramatization, participants were treated to a visual experience. The talented actors performed in full costume and the technical crew demonstrated how they created those iconic sound effects. For many, the experience brought back fond memories of gathering around the radio with family to listen to "Gunsmoke" when it originally aired.
