One of their best from their early days. I highly recommend you guys check out their performance during the War tour Live at Red Rocks- amazing stuff.

Hi John & Lulu, I have been a musician for years and I've been Irish my whole life but I've been a fan of U2 since their first song in 1980, they have so many good songs like New Years Day, Sunday Bloody Sunday, The Streets Have No Name and so many more

When the lyrics say "a man betrayed with a kiss" it refers to Jesus kisses Judas🙏

Correction - Judas kissed Jesus. Jesus was betrayed with a kiss.

Look how young they were... I have never heard the C&C music factory version. I can't even imagine it.

Someone once told who each stanza the lyrics was referring too. But other than MLK at the very end. I knew "One man betrayed with a kiss" was about Jesus Christ being identified by JUDAS.

C&C did this song?! Never. Knew.🤯 Reacting to a live version of Where the Streets would be epic... but which one?! Too many good ones out there. By the way, if you hear I Still Haven't Found again, it may become your new favorite🤣... definitely mine. Bono's voice just yearns... but damn, the original or the live version with the church choir?! I don't know!

Bullet the Blue Sky is my favorite U2 song but they have at least twenty right up there.

I've always thought 'I Think We're Alone Now' (1967) by Tommy James and the Shondells sounded very much like it was about two young men (or women) trying to hide their love.

Memphis night in April refers to MLK assasination. Powerful tune !!

Must also react to Bono's "In a lifetime" vocals just as good as here if not better 👌🏻

I don’t think so. Just the last verses. I never understood this song except for the last group of verses.

I would say at least as epic as C&C lol. This was one of the songs that put U2 on the map

The dance version is horrible compared to the original. Just sayin' :)))
