So, you saw the condition of this car before the customization AND you offered the owner your own money to pay for NOS parts and the cost of a restoration to original.
Look at this Big Pimpn Ride Wow, What a build absolutely beautiful. Motor rocks Slammed Down body. One of a kind interior, Very maticulously put together different is cool. Thanks Scottie nice pick?
What a crying shame! A crime. This is a rather rare and precious car. Continental Motor company stuck their necks out not sure how many millions they would lose on the production of this Mark and this is what was done to this? Low life looking 70s pimpmobile. Talk about no tolerance for original design. WTF.
i agree totally, DAM HAM...this model Continental is not all THAT rare... i think the customizers did an absolutely superb job modifying it... TOOO many cry-babies here !!!
its pretty rare. They made ~3k of those and it was on Rolls Royce level in quality, unlike cheap mark III. The real crime here is the audio quality of the video though.
+John W 1711 Stock Glad you enjoyed it Brother...I love what they did with it!

I have literally researched over countless years for which wheels are the most beautiful while simultaneously being the most reliable on Earth. And these ones are the absolute winner above all. They are called Colorado Customs Levansworth. They are actually the finest quality money can buy. To qualify for an order, they require full custom measurements to make them proprietary to the actual car, are made of solid billet aluminum, take over 2 months to custom-fabricate, and even include custom engraved emblems and caps! All that for only $4,000. Excellent deal!
Poor car!!!,! .....pray it was a basket case and this is all they could do with it, I doubt anyone will " come up and see it sometime" Mae must be rolling over in her grave and hoping her signature will fade over time. However, as much of a travesty as this car is, the work which was done on it looks top notch! Just hate to see these classics end up this way, I'm shedding a tear!
lol...Come on man....Cool is Cool...It surly beats it rusting and no one paying attention to it....I appreciate the way you conveyed your displeasure...lol.....
I love kustom cars why not chop the top or shave the door handles or lower them. Do you not understand all the work that went into the details of building a car at this level very hard to do. I took a 1952 Packard 2-Dr business coupe and chopped and dropped it on the ground with a bad ass Chevy small block 434 ci motor 856 hp. That car was a concept car one off it was radical as can be. I chopped and kustomized many old Packard cars back in the 70’s to mid 90’s. It is only metal who cares. As long as it is done right and tastefully a few changes can really make a big difference in how they look. I don’t like the wheels at all but so what the rest of the car is amazing looking. Anyone can take a car apart clean up pieces and put it back together so what!! But a real builder sees a vision of what it can really look like and chops it up and makes a masterpiece out of scrap. I built my first kustom bikes and a trike back in 1967. If I could I wish I could get my hands on a 1930-35 Packard to kustomize or a 1946-47 caddy. But such is life. I’m old and broken down these days. I know how but I just physically can’t.
Could you please post your website. Between my phone speakers and my crap hearing I cant make out what your website is ? Sitchops? Fitchops? I cant find it.
They are very rare, Jim Mac has Elvis' Continental here in town. He has left it un-restoredm which he should do. They've always reminded me of a larger, more elegant `56 Thunderbird.
I just seen this car for first time yesterday. I fucking love this car. Its a rare car & it looks incredible. Wonder how much this car goes for lol. Def well over $100k
The value is these customs are hard to put a finger on....I tell people ...It cost a lot of money to build a dream car...but you can buy someone else dirt cheep.....These cars aren't built for investment...They are built to be different...
hey scottie can you ask Lincoln motor company when are going to build a another two doors Lincoln sports cars may be a another Mark 9 /or Mark 10 thank you scottie and happy labor day weekend to. you 2016 #
Thanks Scottie /iam abig Lincoln fan but whenthey stop making two luxury sports coupes like the famous Mark 7 and the Mark 8 and it's been 1998 and still no two doors Lincoln sports cars and it's 2016 going on 2017 but good. luck to their New luxury Continental four doors 2017. I have two Lincoln Mark 7 in black with red inside 1992/and I have 1988 Lincoln Mark 7/the white lightning 5.8/351w hey scottie if want to see what the Lincoln white lightning looks like Google it and you will see they made only 23 white lightning Mark vll L.S.C thank for your reply doing a great job take care /Lincoln for life !!2016
Sad. I Used to own a 1956 Lincoln. “Stock” And the ride was better then a Mercedes-Benz. I don’t even recognize what this car is. I hope they get their moneys worth.
While I do not doubt the work it took to make this car as it is now requires great skill and craftsmanship, I take issue with the choice to do so rather than make it original. With only about 2000 total made originally, and far fewer survivors in existence today, it seems a bit sacrilegious to make it into a what it is now (rims, air ride & a system... come on). It’s imposing modern somewhat vulgar tastes onto classic and purist sensibilities. It’s like drinking an expensive champagne out of a plastic cup: the presentation makes all the difference.
All that car really needed was some rims and tires THATS IT!!! it nice but that particular car is worth so much more left alone , to me it’s a shame to spend that kind of money on a car to depreciate the looks and value. Just sayin!!!
hey scottie good morning if you are coming to Atlantic city car show and auction on September 16/17 2016 / let me no I will have a limo pick you it's call ron limousines at the Atlantic city air port going to the ac convention center / don't forget Lincoln needs a two door sports car to be number again / take care !!! :-)

I agree...Very cool for sure!!
Bonjour je suis fan de ces magnifiques voitures de collection et je suis ravie de voir ce modèle exceptionnel. Merci beaucoup
Glad You liked it!!
What a cryin' shame. That car was PERFECT as designed by the original manufacturer....
i know. it looks like its all been 3d printed.
Joseph Laforsch I just blasted this 70s pimped out SUPERFLY DISASTER. Insulting wreck if you ask me.
I agree, they ruined it.
So, you saw the condition of this car before the customization AND you offered the owner your own money to pay for NOS parts and the cost of a restoration to original.
Joseph Laforsch
I totally agree. There's an old saying, "If it ain't broke... don't fix it!"
So sweet! Love the stance, the interior is impeccable, and the overall look is amazing. Very nice. Thanks Scottie!
+John Parker My pleasure Brother....I think they nailed it to!!
for a real challenge should have made it stock

When you buy one you are entitled to fix it up any way you want. What a whiner.
i agree totally, DAM HAM...this model Continental is not all THAT rare... i think the customizers did an absolutely superb job modifying it... TOOO many cry-babies here !!!
styldsteel1 my first thought.
its pretty rare. They made ~3k of those and it was on Rolls Royce level in quality, unlike cheap mark III. The real crime here is the audio quality of the video though.
These are rare cars. This was a completely different body, from the standard Lincoln, of the same year. Great video. Thanks.

@@ScottieDTV The price of $4,000 is actually for a full-blown set, which even includes your choice of custom engravings for the center caps.
WOW...that seems like a pretty good deal...

If it is sold why in hell do you have it on the Internet, why in hell waste people's time.
What are you talking about!?!?...Never said anything about a car for sale?
Some people simply like to look at a beautiful automobile. I am sure 90+ % of the people looking at this car couldn't afford it anyway.
Ford designers are turning in their grave
