You could turn on crouch toggle if you're nervous about falling off edges, I've never used it but I get super paranoid that my pinky will give up at the worst moments
Fun fact, if you throw a pearl into the void it doesn't teleport you. So as long as you have good aim you will be fine, just don't hit a vertical wall with a drop into the void beneath you.
@@fusion09a Yeah, shulker farm is a thing, they duplicate when shooting each other. A duplicate shulker has a 50% chance of spawning when the hit shulker teleports. This mechanic was introduced as part of the Caves & Cliffs Part II update to provide renewable shulkers in survival mode. You can build the farm without rails/carts if you clear 8 blocks abound shulkers, but it is pain since they are hostile

Use your water bucket to help with shulker hunting. Put the water above and swim the stream to counteract the levitation.

Take crafting table and snag chests to make a shulk for all your items ;)
I dont know if it is still a feature but... when a shulker shoot itself or an other shulker, it create an other shulker... shulker farm...
Not sure, i know they can kill themselves or each other. Normally they will just teleport when shot
