Hibana excels in the situation you described with opening multiple angles of attack, you’re fast and nimble, use that to set up multiple breeches at once and play around them, effective if you’re by yourself, I’d actually recommend using a red dot over the magnified (faster ADS speed) and you’ll be in much closer proximity to enemies so the agility is key with the smaller mag size. Pellet Shapes- stacking the 2X2 (square shape, 4 pellets) to make an 8X2 lets you get breeches standing, you can prone through a regular 2X2 if you’re approaching quietly and wanna use the rest of your pellets into site. 1x2 (2 pellets stacked) is good for small angle peeks to create pressure with low resource investment, use your 3X2 (wide rectangle) to create long peek angles to watch wide angles, you’ll see more Ace and Thermite players as a primary breacher but Hibana as a secondary, aggressive breacher can get you some cheeky plays by taking unexpected angles via reinforced walls, once you unlock maverick you’ll see he also has that playstyle of making holes in walls to pick off defenders worried about your team’s main push and punishing unsecured flanks, since you’ll mostly be alone as hibana (and maverick) watching for roamers and especially pick reliant ops like Caveira and Vigil, you need to be confident and aware in your movements, breaching charges are handy if you know you’ll be entering alone or making plenty of noise otherwise I’d stick with Flashbangs, the semi auto pistol is a preference of mine but it’s up to your comfort, supernova has a shocking amount of range and comes in handle with breach charges OR flashbangs if you decide to make very rapid entry focused on taking advantage of surprise and snagging as many kills as you can before you’re eventually stopped(this is also a common way to play Amaru), one man army you are not- you have the aim, you have the reflexes, all that’s left is the map knowledge and you’ll get that with time, good luck out there.
AsiLieslies - yo thank you so much for the detailed comment! Appreciate you taking the time and thanks for the complements! Definitely getting advice from the R6 community like yourself has accelerated my learning no doubt! Thanks again and have a great week 👍
Overall a tip for secondaries, you should pretty much never pick a normal pistol if possible. Pick what your loadout is missing: if your primary is a dmr, a full-auto machine pistol will be the best. If your primary is an assault rifle/smg, a shotgun for opening holes in walls will be great if possible. If you need some anti-gadget/hatch opening, get a gonne-6. But overall in a game with 1-shot headshots, machine pistols with higher fire rates heavily outclass semi-auto pistols so even if you already have a full-auto primary just go for the secondary smg over a pistol if no other options.
I’ve played siege since year 1 season 3 and have well over a thousand hours and I’m still learning things every time I play, it’s a super complex game. I could definitely help run you through the basics if you want. You have some decent aim so with some guidance and practice you could do very well in ranked.
one massive recommendation i noticed from this video man is that you should always be running the smgs if they are available as a secondary since h they are much more versatile acting as an almost secondary assault rifle since they have good damage along with good firing speed
also if you see this man you should start live streaming you playing because it would be a lot of fun to watch and give my live tips for help at the exact moment
Working on getting back into streaming for sure! Just been too busy with making videos and work. But I will live stream soon no doubt! Thanks as always 👍
@@KarlDane_ Ace is best overall hard breacher - His ability is 3 x throwable canisters that stick to a reinforced wall or hatch and opens it (similar idea to hibana however they start opening automatically after being thrown), also much better primary weapon AK12
That is exactly what my friend's done recently! He took about a 3 or 4 year break, so he's quite rusty. But playing them randomly lets you learn very well. And if you're lucky, your teammates in the match could give you tips and tricks during the match! HIBANA NOT POPULAR Regaring Hibana's popularity, she used to be one of the very few operators who could open a reinforced wall, meaning she was SUPER popular, but since then she has fallen off since Ace was released and Hard Breach charges were added to the game. ADS TIME FEELS WEIRD? With the release of Deadly Omen, this season Ubisoft has slowed down ADS speeds overall, and the ADS time is determined by the class of weapon. So if you were curious, Hibana has the exact same ADS speed as Buck who has the exact same ADS speed as, say, Thermite. Assault rifles have different times than shotguns, which have different times than pistols, so on so forth. It's all dependent on weapon class POKING HOLES IN WALLS WITH PELLETS A phenomenon I've only recently learned about is something called "phantom pressure", in siege. Of course, as an attacker, you want to press and press on the enemy until you have the upper hand, but what if you don't have the manpower for it? That is exactly how Hibana can help. Even if you won't be peeking any of the holes you make in the wall, it will make the enemy incredibly paranoid knowing that they are exposed to multiple lines of sight. I didn't even notice until recently and you've figured it out already! Someone's a natural! MAKING SHAPES WITH PELLETS As you might've seen during the game, there's a little prompt on your HUD, right above the ammo count that has a few shapes, and a B above it. I saw you use it at times during the game, which was very good intuition on your part. If you want a breach you can walk through, my best recommendation can be to swap the pellet shape to the square (4 pellets), and then shoot one on the bottom of the wall, and one right above it (so it'll look like it's 2 across and 8 down). This would provide room for you to move in, but my only gripe with it is that it's small, so if the defender is watching it, there's not many angles you can peek them through. Anyway, rant concluded! Thank you for providing great entertainment for us today, and it's always fun to see another player actively learning the experience. Good luck, and good hunting, my friend
Thanks as always for the in-depth comment Cody! Appreciate the detail you’ve provided! Going to try my best to put out 3 videos a week depending on my schedule. Being an adult is time consuming sometimes though lol 😂. Have a great weekend 👍
I would always pick a machine pistol secondary if available because it's pretty much another primary weapon. The smg-12 has really crazy recoil but in the right hands it can get stuff done
Hey @KarlD_ , Hibana is a hard-breacher usually picked over termite or ace when you are looking to open a lot of hatches (like on clubhouse basement attack). She needs 4 pellets to open a hatch and can use her secondary breaching charges to open up wooden floors around the hatches to put a lot of pressure fast! like you said, she's a bit wonky if youre using her to open up walls since the holes are too small and her gadget takes too much time. In this case you would do well to opt for thermite or ace instead.
hibana is amazing on maps like bank, clubhouse, even consulate where there are lots of hatches needed to be open. her ar is good but also the shotgun can come in handy on close quarters, always choose her secondary smg never a pistol more bullets the better, overall good stuff man the more you play the more you learn and the better you will get!
Hey Ellanut! Thanks for sharing that knowledge, definitely an operator. I need a practice more with thank you for the loadout suggestions! I will keep that in mind next time I play her. Thanks again for the comment and have yourself a great rest your week 👍
Focus on using hibana pellets on reinforced walls and castle baracades, (not the wooden ones good players will shoot trough the door and destroy em) also my loadouts w her are almost always supernova w the machine pistol, sometimes ill take the rifle.

@KarlD_ yup! Just one thing to note with the laser is if you do have it equipped and are around a corner, make sure you aren't shining the laser at an area the enemy can see. If the spot it, they'll know you're watching that angle

Hibana is better on hatches,

Ads when using hibanas device to give a more precise lining up and 4 pellets let u crouch through and you only need 2 on barricades
