Holy cow! Amazing to me that the final match got called so quickly without measuring Bodie's arrow. From the close up, it almost didn't look like it was in. Plus the target was torn. I was really surprised by the fact that a measurement was not taken. I think the announcers were shocked too and actually just stopped commentating when the announcement was made. One of them even remarked that it didn't look in.
@@sinchrotron even if he missed the 12, they both scored 8, but Bodies was closer to center of the target so he still wins. In a 1 arrow shoot-off if they get the same score closest to center wins. That's why I don't think they went through the measuring process.
@@KentRodgmanThey shoot one for score, then shoot another for score, then shoot another closest to target just like the ref explained. If Bodie had missed they would have shot another arrow. It’s crazy they didn’t look at it closer.
I haven't shot in several years now, but I used to always shoot in an order that minimized the arrow shadows (so arrow 3 would be the top target). These guys are incredible.
@@rxs3783 I think in USA Archery and World Archery it's 60lbs. But for indoor archery going more than that would be a major disadvantage so I doubt they ever check but I'm not sure.
the Image is a great bow ,,,, it would be way better if the ATA was like 33 or 34 ,,, I would buy one today ,,,just to short for me , c'mon Mr, Mathews ,, now just go back to the drawing board and make one ,,,, that would be the best for the guys and women who like to shoot target and hunt ,, and when your at the drawing board make the # 45-55 that would be the best selling bow you ever made
Not sure why compound bow is even a category. Any monkey with a gun can shoot a compound bow! Especially with all of that crap attached to it! You want to make it a real competition, make them strip that thing down!
Yeah anybody can shoot a compound bow, but that doesn’t mean they can shoot it well. Stop commenting on things that you probably can’t even do yourself.

Looks like that even if Bodie miss 12, he still got 9, so it doesn't matter

Schaff is a man of conviction and pure will power to go for that 12.

Great video man. Thank you and hope you are well.
Great work in production.
Just WOW ! 🏹🏹🏹
Heck yeah bodie, it’s crazy what you’ve accomplished at such a young age!
If those stabilizers were any longer they would have to move the targets back!!!
I'm watching this on my way to vegas
Bodie is the man!
a lot of talk about Dave while Jacob is hammering 11's one after another
Didn't look like Bodie's 12 was in. I wish there was a better camera angle. Alas, we trust the judges. =)
Will there be a "Bowhunter" video?
Yessir...STay tuned!
They both missed the 12 IMO.
Definitely didn't look in the 12
Bow hunter class anytime soon?
Yessir...Stay tuned!
What is the yardage on this? Anyone know?
Just saw this, it’s 20yds
What's the shooting distance?
20 yards
how far is this 10 yards
20yds, 18m
How expensive are these outfits?
~$4000 maybe a little less.
Are the bows checked for poundage before shooting?
Y?
@TheIngoBeck just asking because I thought there is a limit

That 12 wasn’t in.
Yeah they made sure not to leave the flashlight on it more than half a second 😂
Um that 12 seemed like a miss
Anymore everyone shoots mathews or hoyt at this level
2nd place was PSE. 3rd place was Darton. 4th place was PSE. 5th place was Elite.
You mean Hoyt and Matthews sponsors a lot of people at this level.
@@j.s.3414 I would turn em both down

So then we'll see you this year in the pro shootoff then....eh 🐒

Yeah anyone can shoot but let’s see you hold that bow still at 20 yards and hit a 10 or 11 it’s not a gun witha scope
You probably have a crossbow
