5:23: Herry can’t just cry on his own. In the book (which I used to have) the illustration shows actual tears from his eyes. Herry probably had to think of something sad.
I think I know just how Herry Monster feels about hearing babies cry nonstop and the fact that it bothers him so much. When I saw the movie Ice Age as a teenager in 2002, the crying baby noises in the movie gave me all kinds of headaches and I wanted to leave the theater.
I had this among some other Sesame Street tapes when I was little and it’s so nice to hear it again. Do you have one with Prairie Dawn’s Alphabet Play on side 1 and the number-themed birthday party on side 2? If so, will you post it? Thanks.
I Have this Sesame Street Book and it is one of my favourite books of Herry Monster from Sesame Street I have the book in Hardcover and i also have the book in paperback as well and I also have the tape recording to the Story as well.
@@aekfuturewriter13 It seems for the Golden Books era of "Sesame Street" read-alongs, Fran Brill and Marty Robinson were the most frequent narrators. Fran Brill especially has a great narrator-type voice. She even narrated the Golden Book Video adaptation of "Big Bird Brings Spring to Sesame Street!"
Do you have the following cassette tapes? Ernie Gets Lost Bert and the Broken Teapot Bert and the Missing Mop Mix-Up When Grover Moved to Sesame Street Vegetable Soup A Bird's Best Friend
No problem! I had all of these all of these as a little girl, and it's great that you posted Herry's Baby Sister. cuz it was very moving, it remind me quickly of the ones I just requested! :-) I subscribed to you, so then I will know when you post them!
Congratulations, Herry Monster; you are a big brother now.
That's cool that there's an heirloom quilt. 😊🛌
I JUST LOVED LITTLE BABIES.
7:08 Herry, you have a beautiful voice, and that lullaby is so cute!
Doesn't that opening score just make you shed tears?!
It still does for me 36 years later! 😥😥
@@sweetlife031No, but it does sound so sweet! I'm not one of those girls who can just cry on command.

I think he was just mocking Flossie. What do ya think of that?

Cast list for this cassette:
Fran Brill - Narrorator/Herry’s Mommy
Jerry Nelson - Herry Monster/Herry Monster’s Daddy
Frank Oz - Bert
TheMSW1291 Camille Bonora and Marty Robinson should’ve voiced Herry's mommy and daddy
Jerry Nelson's voice for Herry's dad sounds similar to Pa Gorg. :)

Martin P. Robinson and Frank Oz narrated a few. Fran Brill was a regular narrator for a lot of them both as herself and as Betty Lou and Prairie Dawn.
