This was something of a rarity, given that this CBS Saturday morning cartoon series from Fall 1966,was the very first animated version of "THE LONE RANGER",given the limited
animation, that was used here! many people thought that this was a Filmation produced cartoon series, but that studio didn't do this charecter, until Fall 1980,when it aired as part of "THE TARZAN/LONE RANGER ADVENTURE HOUR",with animated adventures, that were more realistically Western, then the fantasy laiden material used in this 1966 series-but with an acceptional voice cast, like Henry Corden's unmistakable voice,in this episode, who eventually went on to replace Alan Reed as the voice of "Fred Flintstone"-Corden was a remarkable voice actor, who lasted a long time in this business!

Format Films, in collaboration with Halas & Batchelor in England, animated this series.

Made by same animators who did the Alvin show

Even watching this as reruns as a kid, I always thought the plots didn't make sense. Clearly the animators had no idea of the size of a bison in this ep.
