OPENING NIGHT Part III: "Sleep No More"

OPENING NIGHT has been a work in progress since early 2021. Connor Lawrence Johnson acquired $5,000 of financing from the Crown Thesis Funding grant at Syracuse University. With a budget secured, he and Jon Jakobowski developed the script - rushing to lock in the story, to acquire equipment and materials, and to recruit a talented team of local students all before the quickly-arriving production deadline. In August 2021, the cast and crew convened in Syracuse, NY, to shoot 111 pages with $5,000 in only 14 production days. After over 30 months of collaborating, lesson-learning, and true determination, Connor and Jon concluded post-production on OPENING NIGHT and can finally share it with everyone. We hope you enjoy!
