I love your mentality man it makes me even more motivated on days were I don't feel like I'm good enough or don't want to go train but in the end my hours of hard work will pay off. good luck with the team Matt. hope you get positive news in the weeks to come
Matt, I know you are big on goals, when are you planning on reaching bundesliga, as in by what age/year do you want to be a first division player? I'm also aware of the fact that you went to college and seem to be quite an intelligent guy, so I'm curious on how to balance school and football? I want to do well in both, because after retiring from pro football, my plan is to focus on eradicating diseases, changing the world etc... How did you manage to do this? By the way, you wouldn't believe the improvement I've endured just from your RUclips videos. Can't wait to try out one of your programs!
Really inspirational and motivational and how treat with this things and your mindset and hard work is great! Hopefully you'll play in an upper league next season!
Your very inspiring. Its interesting how your alone trying out for a club and always get to chill, train, play, recover.I hopefully will try out for clubs too,That is my dream.Hopefully you make it its a tough process and and mental and physical process.I already know that but I will try to achieve my dream. Thanks for the pre experience for trying out for a club.
Hey Brother I love watching your videos they help me inspire my teenage boys to have soccer dreams and how to achieve them. I would love to see the video you were talking about on what to do for trials/tryouts. Club tryouts are right around the corner for my boys for next year.
Matt your my faviroute youtuber in the world you have helped me so much. Could you help in what programme to buy on your website since it my birthday i got a bit of cash and also good luck in your trial hope you make it.
Happy birthday, my man! First, you need to decide if you want a more expensive program customized directly to you or a cheaper standard program. Then, you need to decide in what area. Do you want a weightlifting routine, soccer routine, cardio, mix of a couple. Let me know what you're looking for and I'll help you through the process
+YungT HD I would look into a customized package containing a soccer training program and weightlifting program. Or you could wait until the end of May when I release an off-season training guide
Hi congrats on your trial, I was just wondering if you could me with my injury. It's an injury to the rectus femoris and I've rested for 4 weeks now whilst doing excerises specific to the injury and it's still not any better wandering if you had any tips. Thanks!
Great job Matt! Good luck! Quick question, seeing how I am quite you young my parents say that I shouldn't have protein shakes, so do you have any ideas of what I could replace it with?
As a result of one of your strengths being speed, youre probably the guy thats always sprinting up and down the field never getting tired, but do you ever get injured because of this? eg. pull groin muscles
What's up Matt!!! I got a interesting question so when you went to Germany did you make appointments with those teams before you get there or you moved and find out everything when you get there???
Vertu Urf It doesn't succeed? Look at the Premier League and Championship league, they are a result of the system moron. That's like saying - Doesn't matter if you play football in Japan or Spain - it's the same! Think before you write something dude.
its called championsleague and the last time a english club won was 2012,not even mentioning the world cup :D and premier league is a result of the system ? its just the first league of the uk every country has that,i dont see any different system i just dont think it was right saying "should of went to uk cause i think the system is better" when a he obv cant chose where he gets a contract and b i dont see how the system is any different have a nice day tho didnt mean to offend u
Vertu Urf This is what a better system means - More opportunities, more scouts, agents and if you happen to play for a lower tier it's still great and the salaries players get are good
+Caleb Bryant Most younger people in Germany can speak pretty good english. So communicating isn't too much trouble. I have also learned all of the necessary German commands for soccer like "Left, right, step, back, pass, cross, man behind you, leave, mine, etc." So during the game I really don't even notice it.
I have a question about your career in soccer, do you get paid enough for simple things like food, rent/bills, and going on trips just from soccer or is that from RUclips money (if you get any) I want to know because if I become pro I don't want to be low on money or have money issues
+Bryce.W.Soccer not everyone needs an agent, Paul scholes never had one. Sometimes lower division teams have open trials for anyone as they can't afford to sign players.
What advice do you have for a person who wants to play soccer profesionally, but doesn't have the fitness, or isn't in great physical shape to do so. ;)
I will tell you... Get in great physical shape and fitness. This is crucial regardless of what position you play in the pro game, as without it you won't even be able to last 90 minutes
+Arsen Demetriou Because strength training doesn't make you slower. A proper weightlifting and plyometric routine will make you faster. Have you seen how big and strong world class sprinters are?
I am gonna do the same thing with my life when I get older.Amazing channel and u will have lots of subscribers one day.
he indeed does
Crazy to think he had less than 100k at this point. And now....423k
I love your mentality man it makes me even more motivated on days were I don't feel like I'm good enough or don't want to go train but in the end my hours of hard work will pay off. good luck with the team Matt. hope you get positive news in the weeks to come

Is the Golie Andre Grandt? If so tell him Rafa junior from his juco team says hi to get in touch with me. We were champs together

What's up Matt!!! I got a interesting question so when you went to Germany did you make appointments with those teams before you get there or you moved and find out everything when you get there???
omg Giessen is only 30 km away from my home
did you get into the team, it's been some time now
Im very interested why you chose Germany? Why didn't you come to the UK i think the system is better?
a friend of his set him up to go to germany
wich system? you play football the same way in every country and if uk´s system is better i wonder why uk football does not succeed :D

What's it like playing in a foreign country. How do you communicate with your teammates and stuff
+Caleb Bryant Most younger people in Germany can speak pretty good english. So communicating isn't too much trouble. Were you at the trial in the Bundesliga team Wolfsburg or just a team in Wolfburg?
how much time does your training last?
Mine does 1:35, beacuse I guess we're not pros football players.
Yo the soccer comunity is not small it is one of the biggest if not the biggest comunity in the world but great work man 👍left a like
5:51 sounds like eat the pool XD

At the level I'm at now, living just off my contract would be tough. However, combined with RUclips and my program sales, I can live very comfortably.

How aren't you getting slow with such weight training mr Matt??
+Arsen Demetriou Because strength training doesn't make you slower. A proper weightlifting and plyometric routine will make you faster. Have you seen how big and strong world class sprinters are?
did you have an agent in college?
No, it is against NCAA rules to have an agent in college.
so the team you are playing for saw you play in college?
No, I got an agent after my senior season in college.
+Become Elite ok thank you
