Honestly, I prefer not knowing the "meaning" to a song so that I can attach what emotions and ideas I want to it, letting me enjoy it for my own reasons. Dont mean to put a damper on u guys who say it reminds u of ur best frien of bf or watever but thts wat its about. Im not makin it up its wat the songs about. He was tryin to convince her that she was important and to keep living. Thn was giving her sumthin to give her hope in the dark times. Its really sweet and i love the song but its kinda sad in a happy/hopeful way.
