It breaks my heart that you can't keep Ngat with you!! He loves you SOOOO much!!! I know you can't, but I do wish that there was a way!! You need a huge compound to keep all your animals. I hope Mr. Low is taking Ngat in and working with him every day. I don't like him being outside, but, I guess in that part of the world it is ok, because the weather is mostly mild. Wow the video says 8 years ago. I can’t believe it has been that long already. It feels as if it was just last year that we had NGAT in our lives. Jamil, you did a truly beautiful job with him.

When I see Ngat and JK together I can see what a beautiful pigtail macaque JK is. He seems in better health, bigger, and calmer--better behaved--than Ngat. It's wonderful to see what you can do with animals you have with you all the time. Very good. I'm really impressed with how good JK looks. I don't mean to say that I think less of Ngat, just that he really helps show how well you have cared for JK. Keep it up! I would have a monkey myself and a pigtail macaque is my favorite old world monkey, but if i got one my wife would not like it, so as it is said, a happy wife is a happy life.

Does ngat sleep in the cage with her yet?? shes still young and afraid..The new owners seem to be inexperienced and afraid of the monkeys but are trying hard to meet their needs..How kind of you to help them and make these lovely videos for us. He’s miserable tied to a tree 24hrs he just paces back and forth it’s really passing me off how these people keep them. They don’t even have to keep the little one locked up all day
He’s been pacing since he was rescued ! Previous owners kept him tied. He was FREE he had been crudely castrated & tossed away at edge of forest area. He was STARVING to DEATH when jamils friend saw him -alerted Jamil who rescued him from death by starvation. Jamil could not keep him. Found him a home here. But had to rescue him again. He is now in a very small cage at a rescue “sanctuary”. Traded a lead to a tiny cage.

Miguel Gasnier plus CASTRATED males lose in the wild would end up killed just like the elderly man ! All they have to do is look at JK fur standing on end in this esp when he sees Ngat. There is a female there too. So their first instinct was to lunge and growl at each other ! Ngat would have been dead very fast without JK being on a leash.
It looks like he's making that face that chimps and capuchins make when they see someone they love after a long time, except they make a lot of noise when they do it like they're crying
Another wonderful video of Ngat and a very young Miss Jang! Mr. Low has a very nice yard and garden - it's a lovely environment and nice and peaceful for Ngat and Miss Jang - and worlds safer than the side of the road where you found Ngat! New situations take time, but Ngat and Miss Jang look like they are doing very well in their new home together!

You have to have special license to keep monkeys in private homes in Malaysia . Jamil is an animal rescued and has permission but limited to two nonhuman primates. Who must be caged or on leashes. Males must have a collar at the neck and two leads because of their strength. A friend told Jamil he saw what appeared to be a dumped former pet monkey at the edge of a jungled area at the edge of a busy highway. Jamil went and sure enough there was Ngat. Skinny former pet who came to him. They should fear people. So he knew he was a pet dumped when he grew too strong. He eventually was able to get Ngat in a carrier carefully w/o incident. He rehabilitate him. Notified Forestry Dept. who told him to find a place for Ngat. One man, the one here is the only applicant that qualified. But a few mo ago Jamil was instructed to go get Ngat as the man could no longer care for him. He did so and Ngat is placed in a sanctuary where unfortunately he has to be caged 24/7. He has had Shaki and JK since they were infants. Over 10 yrs. far longer than most ever are able to do so. He cried the night before having to leave Ngat at Mr Lows. If he could have he preferred keeping Ngat Jamil isn’t one of the greedy uncaring folks that get monkeys to make videos for money and then get rid of them. His rescue work was started with discarded cats and dogs only. He has had to work a job in the past to afford food housing and care for them but now is self sufficient a rescue sanctuary . So no favorites lol
@Sarah Mash hi! Actually Ngats head rolling has improved a great deal since Jamil & Mr Low have been caring 4 him. When he was found on the side of the road it was present and was extremely bad. Apparently previousowners found him difficult as can happen, and the souless fools just left poor Ngat by the raod unable to care for hi self! They had castrated him too!
Ms Jang reminds me of Shakina. They're both a little naughty. Very active. She looks around the same age that Shakina is now. Looking back at these old videos of you with Ngat is heartwarming and sad at the same time. RIP Ngat! You were a good boy & deserved a better life than being dumped. He really loved you, Jamil! When he hugged you he didn't want to let go.

I feel sorry.for these two monkeys being chained up in that all their life. I hope by now they are being cared for in a loving me like Jamil.. I guess Jamil can't adopt every monkey he come in contact with so this is the reason he pay them a visit ocassionsly and love on them. I am in tears because of how beautiful and loving these creatures are if only we would show them the same love and affection. God bless you Jamil.

That smaller one seemed nasty. I don't particularly like younger ones. Ngat is nice and really loves Jamil, it's so obvious. The little one is snippy and doesn't sit still. I don't know how anyone can stand to have then on a home. There's a difference with Ngat. He is a really nice monkey, so calm..
All young monkeys are energetic like that little one she just like Shakina and then that young one is always in a cage she probably is little more excited to be moving free out that cage. They calm down as they move into their monkey teenage years
This guy does a lot for his animals and takes very good care of them and uses his own money to feed n care for all those animals so don't say he needs not chain sum up at times cause they're still wild animals n can run away or even scare someone that doesn't know they are trained well . He's a good person man his videos prove how much he helps and cares for animals

What is the right care? These monkeys were probably abandoned at birth & rescued. Its great to see they have been given the best care possible.

Ngat is very small an frightened as not many people chat an care for him
Ngat looks very upset only able to go round an round with only you for contact as this other guy doesn't come near to him
