For anyone interested in the HT-CT 290 over this one. The HT-CT290 sounds WORSE then this one!!!! I'm not even joking. It has two full range drivers that sound like TV speakers combined with a lifeless sub. This 80 watt system has two mid range drivers two tweeters and a separate sub. Some how this 80 watt system out performs a 300 watt system.......the $99 HT-CT80 is a far superior system to $199 HT-CT290. Sony really screwed up lol. My 290 burned out and was replaced with a JBL BAR 2.1 system. I haven't looked back since. But I will say that this HT-CT80 is an awesome little system for what it is.
