Lineage 2 was extremely popular and still is, kind of... the playerbase is scattered in thousands of privates servers throughout the world because the official servers of Lineage 2 where not the same anymore, the players didn't like the new updates and the game got really "Pay to Win" and then the playerbase left for a more classic (and fair) experience on private servers but eventually they'll get bored of playing the same chronicle over and over, and this makes Lineage 2 a game which you might play it for weeks or months and then leave it, and then come back, and then leave again and come back again. Not all private servers live for too long and some of them are made just for the money so be careful with what server you choose if you want to play again.

It was awesome, still is for some new players, for old...going back to Dion and listen to the OST, watching the fields, hearing the Soulshots, dreaming about becoming a Hero or reminding how it feel is just priceless, stays next to your heart.

I was in an amazing clan with amazing ppl and I am so grateful that I could experience this level of game/friendship. Missing so much going on sieges, raiding Antharas, going on PK spree in FG, or just fooling around in Giran...

I'm living happy life, and I thought I have everything important for me and nothing missing. Then I've decided to listen to this soundtrack, first tike after many years. That was 3 days ago, and I'm listening this on repeat since then with tears in my eyes knowing that this experience will never come back.
I miss this more then I want to admit. That was priceless and I'm glad I can share that feeling with all of you - you know that feeling very well.

Часто вспоминаю С4 и Интерлюд) Фан и фарм ночами. А ворота Диона? Сколько пвп и пк они перевидали,особенно на лоу рейтах)) Музыка в этой игре настолько бесподобна,что композитору нужно памятник при жизни ставить.) А еще,я всегда ждал фильм по игре,ну или мультик полнометражный,но так и не дождался.(

Как можно забыть величественные стены Адена, Торговые улицы Гирана когда бегаешь между рядами торгашей и ищешь нужного гнома, А Дион ох уж этот Дион ПВП ворота вечные Нагибаиоры в сражениях кто сильней... ЭТО не забываемо. Жаль игра ушла навсегда =(
игра не ушла, и сейчас можно поиграть, но тех эмоций хватит на 2 часа, потому что ценна не игра а время проведенное в ней. так что ушло время а не игра. детство закончилось ...

Everytime I play L2 music I feel at the verge of dropping a tear. The low rate experience was so immersive that I can trully compare it to visiting a place in real life and falling in love with that place. The thing is that this beautifully crafted place can not longer be visited and makes the nostalgia harder to cope with :')

Played this game for 8-9 years, lead a clan, more than 100 people, many ended up as friends that still today, 10 years after we are still in contact and see each other regularly. It wasn't just a game, it was growing up, learning to work on team, to rely in other, to trust each other, to do our part for a common goal even if it wouldn't benefit us directly. Bonds formed for all life.
The game might not have been the most balanced or free of bugs or whatever, but still today I can't find a game that gives me so much like Lineage did. Will be an important part of my life until my last days! ♥

There is a pain in my soul listening dion's theme..the time goes so fast..13 years ago at l2 World when i craft my first doom plate armor...i was waiting to finiah the school..and run to my house...i was the first crafting a doom plate armor in my entire town..RIP DaRkAvEng8

Таки да. В те времена эта игра была подобна матрице. Когда никто еще толком не знал, что такое интернет и соц сети, мы уже в игровом чате общались с иностранцами, и заводили новые знакомства. Дал брату малому поиграть в линейку, так он потом с бурей эмоций родителям рассказывал, что в интернете у него теперь есть друг... Теперешним малолеткам этого не понять.😑
It was this one very moment, entering the lineage World, visiting cities i ve never seen before. So many characters all around and everywhere spamming the chat. But couldnt stop to explore as the music caught me from the very beginning, even now, 20 years later not leaving me to rest.

This music reminds me of those times when I used to play Lineage II with my brother and our friends and we had a great time, I always enjoyed the melodies of this game. We played until dawn and our dream was to have a fully enchaced dyna set. I like to listen to this music at any day and time, it is very relaxing and makes me feel at home again

Back when you needed to work with other people in order to make it work. From the simplest task to the top raids and events. Back when running back and forth from Gludin to Giran was your only option.
Gludin and Hunter's Village themes give me the chills.
Back when people could actually talk to each other and not only rely on group finder tool.
I miss those day, I've never meet that much amazing people after this, in pretty much all other mmorpg you're alone until you get to instanced content, and all the open world is easy and boring with no danger..

The beta servers were so much fun. I remember when a new chronicle would come out. All from our server would make 1 clan together in the beta server. Enemies and allies would fight together against clans of other servers.
Once the beta was over, we go back to killing each other in our own realms

I played from C1 up to C4 and then with the Kamael... After I left the game, came back a few years now and stopped for good. It is not the same anymore. It is just sad now.
