  • This video started last week, I drove over a 100 miles trying to catch any activity but Taylor yard is where my day would start and be the bane of the railfanning experience. Not a single train on the Austin sub for miles in either direction and the locos working the cars and breaking down what i assumed was the last train to arrive, would take lead of a long unit of autoracks. I was wrong. An hour later as I looped around in defeat I saw it still sitting in the yard. Fast forward to this week, I went to the location where I saw one of the last if not last sd90macs on UP’s roster once cross through, half an hour of waiting the crew turned the headlights from dim to bright, I’d proceed to wait nearly 90 minutes for it to finally move forward, thinking it was a train ahead going into San Antonio falling behind I was hoping for the other possibility, that being a northbound train was hauling my way, I was correct, two in one, PSR style mid train DPu’s in one crossing. Nearly two hours later the first train finally passed by entirely and my day ended there. Thank you for letting me share this video was very much about how railfanning can be sometimes frustrating, leave you with going home and no content to edit up, I decided to share as I’ve been a week behind for my next video.
Tommorrow my next model rail update will be uploaded, as my backdrop should be delivered tomorrow and really make the layout truly more realistic, everyone who watches, thank you! I have had a massive surge in subscribers and views and thank you for getting me over 10k views and hope I hit a 100 subs soon!
