So let's run this down parallel to the video. So System Celestial, Kuon's plan, could also just be called Immortalize. A process which the veil of night shatters, plunging the world into darkness and unleashing an untold amount of Voids into the real world, and effectively damning it. Kuon mentions the "last evening ball" which either means the first big Hollow Night from UNI1 or his formal debut to the cast approximately a month prior when he regained this "teenage form" as opposed to his child form in Chronicle Mode. I called Kuu being a part of Kuon's plans for a while, so that was nice to see confirmed. Carmine's EXS is special, no big surprise, it's RED. Carmine also reminds Kuon of Higan, we'll get to that person later. Kuon's encounter with Orie seems to be after he's dealt with the likes of Linne and Seth to retrieve her seal of reincarnation and Seth's Eliminators. This still most likely means he dealt with Seth, because Seth's arcade mode has him take on Linne's Seal onto himself so if he loses he delivers two pieces of the puzzle to Kuon. We also learn in Linne and Seth's arcade modes that the Seal of Immortality and Reincarnation are two halves of a whole. From Byakuya, we get more confirmation that Kuon still cares for Linne at the end of the day. Kuon tells Merkava that Voids can never develop human consciousness and can only have it from the minds that deteriorated into becoming a void. Kuon and Gord apparently met once before. This couldn't have been before the first Hollow Night where Gordeau senses Kuon in Hilda's room. There were presumably 3 more Hollow Nights between games so it most likely means they met a month ago. Kuon and Chaos of course were in league for a while now. Enkidu apparently joined up with Kuon purely because everyone is gunning after him and that means Enkidu will have a good pool of challengers to fight with. This hilariously means Wald AND Enkidu were Kuon's security detail. So not only did Hyde beat Hilda the first time, her attempt at vengeance was stopped AGAIN by Kuon a month ago. So despite the pre-release information, it seems that Kuon actually did NOT fight Hyde in the interim as Hyde does not recognize Kuon's teenage form and only remembers his child form when they FIRST met before Hyde ends up at Hilda's place in Chronicle mode. Then it's revealed the Insulator disappeared BECAUSE of Higan and then it was given to Hyde 500 years later. Still no explanation as to Kuon's own Insulator Imitations though. Makes me wonder if Kuon doesn't need it to kill himself but to kill Higan.
As an addendum to this. Hilda had the rest of Amnesia backing her up in the first UNI which made their arcade modes moot with the exception of Enkidu's because his wasn't focused on stopping Hilda. Now I think we can cancel out Wald and Enkidu's arcades since they're on Kuon's side as the "villain group" of UNI2. At least we know Adelheid is still waiting for Wald no matter what happens while Enkidu can forestall his Gouki-phase. Funny how both of them want to fight Kuon as their payment though. Wald leaving the group can conveniently allow Seth to sub in for him as the protagonist group on the cover.
For anyone still around to listen to my lore-theorizing. Check the Enkidu Arcade video again, I think there's an interesting idea to think over in regards to Enkidu's "powers".
There's a non-zero chance that Higan is connected to the Hollow God so he is either Merkava, or Merkava isn't the HG. If so, could they make Higan a DLC character? After all Happy Chaos, GG's greater-scope villain, was not in the base roster when Strive released
I'm not sold on the Merkava being the just HG yet. If he remembers that he was a Void and has now become human, then he must at least remember Hyde, the kid who he just threw the Insulator at. Unless the Insulator's disappearance was the only thing Higan was responsible for.

That was wonderful. Under Night In-Birth has a couple of the most entertaining fighting game villains imo. Hilda and Kuon are just so much fun, well-designed, and overall very entertaining. I have never quickly wanted to play as the main villains or final bosses in a fighting game until Under Night In-Birth happened.
You know, despite Kuon being a villain, he is a pretty chill guy. Rather than killing him i rather wish he could've been saved by either Linne, Orie, vatista or Yuzuriha. Linne being his sister. Orie for having compassion, vatista showing her own will to save the boy she once met so many years back. Yuzuriha being quite ironic since her clan betrayed the Night Blade are the once that saved him. Plus Yuzu rather bury the hatchet rather than kill if she can help herself
Has this higan character ever been mentioned before in previous lore? Or is this the first we are hearing of him cause its starting to sound like the final night isnt really the final night lol.

Kuon wants to make it to the other side of the Hollow Night to confront someone he antagonizes called "Higan". Destroying the world is just a side-effect of starting that journey, but he also wouldn't mind finally dying either.
Probably wouldn't be much in the way of interaction between them. Kuon: I'm afraid you are an uninvited guest. Leave now. Akatsuki: I don't know how. Kuon: That is not my problem. Eltnum: No. Not until Type Lumina gets a Season 3 Kuon: What in the Hollow God's name is s a "Type Lumina"? Eltnum: Sorry, it's something that you, a "boomer" as these kids say nowadays, wouldn't understand. Kuon: ..."boomer"?!

Kuon is a cool villain. His sense of humor is actually quite entertaining, haha.

He's very intimidating, wherever he win or lose, he content with any results knowing he give it everything he got to get his wishes
So what I'm getting from his interaction vs Mika is that she's so stupid she becomes stronger/reaches enlightenment?!
being stupid does gave its perks, like being stupid strong
Byakuya's imitation of Strix is hilarious.
If the DLC comes out for UNI2, imagine in Kuon’s arcade run, he meets up with the DLC characters.
Happened for Lond and Hilda, wouldn't be surprising.

Kuon's fate is ambiguous in Waldstein, Gordeau, Chaos, and Seth's endings unless physically taking his immortality from him is fatal.
So evil; corpses of those defeated. Linne's organs. 😶 Great dialogue, such as Kaguya, Wald, Enkidu & Hyde. Great job, including the pinned comment.
Kuon looking like he's about to play Fall Guys.
Nah he's going to play Hokuto no Ken.
Could this Higan be Hollow God? I can't believe we have to wait a very long time for the lore answers.
I love UNI lore so much

Tbh I wish it was
For those that don’t know higan is said to be the hollow god
Absolutely nothing confirms that.
@@DeepestDankest ah sorry about that
I thought I knew most of the Under Night lore, but... who is Higan? Is that the hollow god?

Disappointed that Kuon doesn't fight Eltnum and Akatsuki even though Hilda could fight them in the first game...
