Watching Eric in his bathrobe hadn't been bad. And as female head of the house that is really Stephanie's pool (but only Brooke, Caroline, Ridge, Thorne ever have been shown enjoying it).

It seems if Eric would have to chose between Caroline or Brooke, he would definitely chose Brooke. 🤔 I have compared Brooke and Caroline before to Stephanie (and that Ridge married women who resembled his mother very much), and I still think that Caroline is even more similar in looks and behavior to Stephanie (sophisticated, but cold smiles, glares, biting remarks, barbed comments). Eric has loved Stephanie deeply, but he had been willing to leave Stephanie for Beth and he will be leaving Stephanie one day for Brooke because he thinks they are different to Stephanie, less manipulative and controlling.
Good comparison. I think Eric sees a lot of Beth in Brooke and Beth was his first true love. It was stated by Stephanie in the first few episodes that the only reason she and Eric got married was because she was pregnant with Ridge. If Eric knew at the time that Ridge was not his son, he and Beth would have probably been married and Stephanie would have married Mossimo or whatever his name was.

I doubt that KKL is on the writing team. In 2010 KKL got interviewed by Michael Fairman and mentioned that she had been afraid how the mistaken identity sex would make her character look like and on the day of shooting that episode KKL had suggested that her character might have been drinking - and Bell then had rejected her input and that that would be worse (Brooke as a chaperone getting drunk). KKL several times has stated in interviews that they all are just following Bradley Bell's writing.

Ridge should’ve chosen Brooke because Caroline isn’t the miss perfect girl she’s showing her true colors now,She married poor Thorne not being in love with him and always loving Ridge and torturing him emotionally,Now not even divorced and she’s going after Ridge and knows how it’ll affect Thorne and expects him to accept it regardless of how he feels,But Ridge does choose Caroline and Brooke will move on with Eric which I didn’t like but eventually after Caroline dies in moves Taylor all the years Brooke still loving Ridge,All the pain some of the people went through because of some bad decisions until they find their way back to each other.
