What's better than one really awesome band? TWO really awesome bands! That is why Christian leaving Scar Symmetry was a good thing: now I have two favorite bands instead of just one!

I'm new to Solution .45, but i've been listening to SS for a long time now, and i love this band!. Christian is a such a badass singer. i wish they would tour the US.

It's really strange, not only the singing changed in SS when Christian left them but the music as well. All i want to say that i'm really happy that this new band that Christian joined actually sound great!!!

@VelaStorm7 SS sounds the same.... It's so ridiculous how much hate they get for switching to two vocalists. I honestly prefer S.45 to most SS songs, but I have the utmost repsect to SS for creating some truly unique metal

I don't know why everybody keeps complaining about this. Now we have TWO great bands to get albums from. and Christian is free to do other work with other groups (ie Universum).

@VelaStorm7 I agree with Holographic Universe being their best album,but i do not agree with bashing the two new vocalists. After all,it is hard to replace someone like Christian Alvestam.

@Yamigekido Unseen Empire is growing on me and I'm starting to like it more than Pitch Black Progress but Christian is better off w/o SS. They are both great artist/groups but they each have different sounds

The singer WAS in Scar Symmetry. However, no more due to the conflicts revealed during the era of the Scar Symmetry's third album.

@kinsmon123 Bash him all you will, but Stanne doesn't have nearly enough versatility as Christian. Simply no contest. Stanne probably wrote the lyrics with Christians vocals in mind, so obviously he cares.

So much goddamn complaining about SS switching vocalists. You people act like the only member of the band is the vocalist. Who writes this awesome music? Christian doesn't write lyrics: SS's lyrics are written by Henrik, the drummer, and Dark Tranquility's vocalist wrote the lyrics for the S.45 album. The only thing the vocalists are contributing is vocals: they don't MAKE the band. If nobody else in the band matters to you but the vocalist, you need to go listen to pop, not metal.
