I’m really looking forward to watching this video! Erika, huge congrats on your successes over the past few years. I remember when we were both doing stimulus package videos and you leaped from 3k subs to 50k in a blink of an eye. Keep crushing it!
Just because there are opportunities in the market doesn’t mean you should go in blindly. To understand the potential factors that contribute to your financial growth, I'll advise you to seek the help of a professional.
@@diablejambe3460 generally multi millionaire real estate people aren’t exactly the most likable people walking the earth. Similar to somebody working as an investment banker on Wall Street. But this guy is actually pretty likable, he’s insanely successful in his industry so good for him.
@@thru_and_thru ah yeah makes sense. And yes he is quite likable, ive always liked real estate/buildings and things like that so ive been watching his stuff for quite some time now, which is how im sure this video got recommended to me.
Thanks for sharing. I'm 50 now. I can't change my age, but I can do what I can in the remainder of it. Keep it healthy, enjoy life, work on things that benefit me first and others, keep learning, keep loving myself first (that is the hardest) and others, change, and adapt. I wish you all the best, my friend. Because of you, I'm going to complete this video.
I’m calling it, this channel will grow big, because of how great of an interviewer she is, with the perfect restraint. She asks great questions and let the guest speak for as long as they take. She does not interject with her own stories, or cut off the guest. It sounds like common sense but so few interviewers can actually exercise this restraint.
power in the gaps, im a careers adviser and giving people space is what we get most of our training in...its hard to hold the space and actively listen! She does it well!
I've always thought that Ryan is a cheesy TV celebrity. But after watching more of his videos and podcasts as this one I find him as a true inspiration. Thanks!
Thank you Erika for having him on your show. His persistence, positive attitude, flexibility, and continue despite his challenges. The future YOU. The future is NOW. What an incredible conversation. ❤
Let's give a shout out to Erika for knowing how to let the guest talk and talk without interrupting and asking off topic questions that ruin the flow. 👏
My fear of age is what has kept from doing what I want. I am turning 32 and haven't done much but I recently heard someone say " time is going to pass anyway" this triggered in my brain that I needed to do something. Now hearing this I am even more pumped. Thank you to you both.
Well remember, 32 is very young. Age is a mindset. Think about it like this: why make a big deal about how many times we revolve around the sun? The only really important aspects of age are our ability to procreate, the lessons we learn, and how gravity affects the body. Everything is a bunch of judgmental people telling other people what they can, can’t, should, or shouldn’t do... all because they don’t have the courage to do it… because THEY feel old. So if you think about it, you worrying about age is all about worrying what somebody else thinks about age, who’s worried about what somebody else thinks about age, and on and on the bullshit goes. If you’re healthy, go do the fun and amazing things that you want to do. Why? Because you want to and because life is SUPPOSED to be enjoyable. Remember, the sun isn’t watching you revolve around it and judging you for it. Get that? The thing we judge age by doesn’t even care about it. The boring ass, lifeless ass, scared ass, unsuccessful ass, goofy ass, following ass clowns are the ones that care. I’m 44. I’m a brand new life insurance agent with a goal to hit a million plus. I’m never gonna stop listening to Hip Hop. I still write, produce and sing my own music (check out my music YT channel Erin DeNis Liggins), and still pull pranks on my 15 year old son. My Grandmama, in her 70’s, would go to the mall and the movies with me, dance around the house, throw food at us for fun, red Cosmo magazine for sexy tips to keep the fire alive with my Granddaddy, and had a good time in life. Do good and harm ye none. And when gravity wears the body down, have as much fun as the bones you have left will allow. Everything else is for the birds! 💯🔥💖
I haven't watched tv forever and Ryan appeared in something on my Instagram. I'd forgotten how likeable he is. He's so down to earth and a breath of fresh air, that I'm shocked in the nearly 10 years it's been since I watched him on tv and all the new success he's achieved, he's as genuine of a person as when he started. From what I can see, his money is a tool and he's not allowed himself to feel he's had to leave his roots. I enjoyed this interview with him so much.
Loved it. I’ve watched Ryan on TV but didn’t know his back story. He’s Driven. I was interested in the episode because I saw Ryan as a guest…but then I found Erika !!! Job well done Erika. Subscribed.

Erika and Ryan taught me never to doubt myself, do what I want now and not few years in future, do stuff that drives me and try it out cause if not now then when. Really grateful for both amazing people for this awesome podcast.
Awesome Q&A. I always enjoyed watching Ryan Serhant. I've been a mortgage lender since 1992. Did better than most but hit a lull in terms of enthusiasm. But this podcast put fire in me again to ramp up to the next level! Thank you Erica and Ryan, More power to you both.

“If you wake up everyday and have that initiative and go and hunt, you can do anything” I think this quote from Ryan really sums up his success. Wow, wonderful podcast, Ryan is a great inspiration for anyone at any age...I have put off many, many ideas for many, many years wasting my 1000 minutes!!! The growing a bigger pie analogy really changes my view of the world we live in right now. Lets grow the pie for everyone and stop the division/entitlement. That's the world I will support from now on, very life changing! Thank you so much Erika for choosing the best possible guest for your first podcast, great start!!!!!
I thought this guy was going to be like the average real estate guy which is nothing but smoke and mirrors as anyone can get the real estate license and there's no much to it. It's a pretty easy thing to achieve and what really counts is the hustle and effort that the individual puts into that work and Ryan was pretty honest with what he did and how he was able to accomplish it and I appreciate that. Also some of the principles that he's mentioning for business are fundamentals that have been thought throughout the years by a lot of people. Good episode.
This is quite educational. It's crucial for newcomers to keep in mind that the financial markets are highly irrational in the short run. You should constantly be ready for the unexpected. That is how chance operates. Because of the inherent risks in the market, I always favor long-term investments.
These uncertainties will always be there. Thing is, every once in a while, the market does something so stupid it takes your breath away. If youre not ready for it, you shouldnt be in the market business. or get you a skilled practitioner.
Such market uncertainties are the reason I don’t base my market judgements and decisions on rumors' and hear-says, it got the best of me in the year 2020 and had me holding worthless positions in the market. I had to revamp my entire portfolio through the aid of Heather my financial advisr, before I started seeing any significant results happens in my portfolio. Been using the same advisor since then and I’ve scaled up almost a million within 2 years. Whether a bullish or down market, both makes for good profit, it all depends on where you’re looking…

Great video, I've been interested in investing ever since I came across articles of people making up to $150,000 and more in this period, thanks for the video but is it really possible for a retail investor to achieve this in months?
I've purchased numerous stocks in individual firms. Because there are so many stocks that will skyrocket in the long run, it is currently safe to buy in on ETF and ride it out. Due to fud, I sold out early, but then retraced my ways and re-invested $350,000 with a financial advisor who manages my account. I received an 82% return last year and will see where it goes this year.
@@martingiavarini I just started a few months back, I'm going for long term, I'm still trying to wrap my head around it, who’s this advisor you work with ?
'Catherine Morrison Evans’is the coach that guides me. She’s a verified coach and she helped me see that returns can be made in both bull and bear markets. She covers things like investing, insurance, making sure retirement is well funded and looking at ways to have a volatility buffer for investment risk, lots of things like that.
thanks for sharing this, I am in conversations with your advisor, and she really has substance, having interviewed her properly and reviewed her model, I am hoping she takes me on quite seriously too
This was a powerhouse! I have been watching Ryan from the time he was on TV selling real estate. I’m Greek, so loved watching him marry his Wife. And I’m also an actress, so I get where he’s coming from. I am so great full with his advice, especially concerning your future self!
Good podcast, have you considered a long form version of your IG content, answering questions about different tips or live calls to customer service centers to help followers with whatever they’re dealing with? Would be fun to see things in action.
Love this suggestion! I have a few episodes coming out related to my IG content "hacks"! :) One is about travel specifically, and then another is more generally about things you can learn by reading the fine print.

that's quite impressive, you surely made a good bit of money. I myself invested in warren's BRK-A stock quite pricey but totally worth it.
This is the best podcast I've listened to in a while ❤
Good podcast, have you considered a long form version of your IG content, answering questions about different tips or live calls to customer service centers to help followers with whatever they’re dealing with? Would be fun to see things in action.
Love this suggestion! I have a few episodes coming out related to my IG content "hacks"! :) One is about travel specifically, and then another is more generally about things you can learn by reading the fine print.
@@erikataughtme cool, looking forward to it
