2 spektrum remotes, if you use other brands you can use just the Bus or an Rx only. On the smaller craft you only need 1 remote but the big Cessna and this QQ Cap 232EX are just that, big planes, so i am just guessing here but i'd say for safety? to make sure you always have contact with the Aura 8 as in a big plane there's more plane to get between the Rx and the Tx so if there is an Rx front and back you are always going to have connection no mater what the plane is doing!
