ARMS is my favourite Switch multi-player game, even before Splatoon 2 and MK8D. Also, you can never go wrong with Min Min. She had better be in a sequel - and Smash.

I think ARMS has my favorite final boss fight on the Switch so far. Yes Bowser was cool, Calamity Gabon was really lame, and DJ Octavio was ok, but the ARMS level 7 Grand Prix boss was awesome

ARMS selling points are the many different extentable ARMS-weapons
Nino Blarrow I actually came up with what I think is a cool move set for Spring Man. And a concept that could make Spring Man and Ribbon Girl fight much differently. Have Spring Man use medium to heavy arms for his smash attacks, and have Ribbon Girl use light to medium arms. So like Spring Man's down smash could be slamming both Kablammers into the ground together, but Ribbon Girl could do something like say using Slammamanders on either side as a down smash, dealing medium damage with a high horizontal knock back
Yabuki could beat a Level 8 Hedlok solo.

Love everything about Arms except Ranked. Almost everyone has a defensive and dull playstyle (spamming arms and dodge charging from afar for the sake of filling up rush, cowering at an HP advantage, ect.) and characters like Spring Man and Springtron complement those playstyles way too well lol.
I wholeheartedly agree. While you are technically allowed to punch your opponent once, and then go hide in the corner for the rest of the match, it makes for a pretty dull game. I've had to learn how to deal with people like that, and while it is certainly possible, it does require a major mental reworking of your strategy. My tip for taking down chicken players, is that the stage corners are your best friend. Use them (unless the stage is circular) to your advantage, by side-winding your way to your opponent, then BLOW 'EM AWAY!
Honestly I hate coward players too, but maybe that's mostly in the low ranks. I'm at ARMS master lvl 1 and most players play pretty aggressive, except the spammers of course but I'm even learning how to deal with them. Although I use Spring Tron as my main and usually go for a more aggressive play style. Count out wins are not my style. Usually base my strategy on out maneuvering my opponent and using complementing arms, like the Sparky and the Slammamander. Or the Sparky and Lokjaw to get a 3-4 hit combo

Have you checked out the online communities for ARMS? There's lots of people around to do friendly matches with to step out of Ranked, and the Casual ARMS discord even runs regular party lobbies. It's always more fun to play with people you can talk to!
LiteraryFirearms I'm a passive user in their discord. Used to play friendlies with people there a lot. It definitely is better than fighting players in ranked.

So What Software For ARMS And Splatoon Using
You mean the engine? ARMS seems to run on a modified version of the Mario Kart 8 engine, while Splatoon 2 is basically using Splatoon 1 as a base & heavily modified stuff from there.

We want more ARMS merch for the west, that jacket is amazing, and would also KILL for an ARMS art book or soundtrack.
It took Splatoon a while for its merchandise to come to the West, so we just have to be patient.

Soundtrack seems rather redundant when there's one song what with the rest being a remix of the main theme.
Sigils, ETHEC. Nothing wrong with that since they did it so beautifully & each of their themes have a different tempo. Especially Spring Man, Helix, and Master Mummy. You can hear the small details that you can appreciate for that specific character.
Man ARMS gets such a bum wrap from the people who picked it up and were bored after a few hours, but there's so much potential for the competitive scene, I'm convinced all the people who complained they were bored skipped over ranked or didn't put in an honest effort
Manuel Thompson I feel the same way for a lot of competitive games specifically ones that require remembering commands. ARMS is more simplistic but requires you to predict what's coming next. I like fighting games that are simpler because I can learn to play it at a serious and casual level.
I agree, the thing that threw me off about ARMS at first was how people were able cheese victories easily depending on their arms/character. During the global test punch, the constant Ninjara's that would constantly grab annoyed the crap out of me. During the games release, the Helix's that would lag while using his stretch ability, Kid Cobra's dash, the damage on the hydras etc were incredibly frustrating for many people to the point where they gave up on the game before it could be fixed. The freeze/electrify then grab combo, the people who only focused on gaining their special amplified the notion that this game didn't take any skill for a lot of players. Overtime as I got better, these tactics became easy to read, which made me realize that blaming it on "unbalanced" mechanics was due my to inexperience. Many of these issues were eventually patched, but it took too long and most of the player base had already moved on to Splatoon 2. I also think the fact that people were impatient for new characters, arms and stages to be released led to its so called "death." If they do make a sequel, I hope they change the method to receive arms, bc the mini game sucks & add more lore/story because I feel that they presented the characters as ones that would have background when in reality it is all subjective to the official art & the player's interpretations.

Apparently, he destroyed Andre from Gamexplain. Andre's put hundreds and hundreds of hours into Mario Kart 8 and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and even won several tournaments. That's what I remember at least.

Honestly, ARMS really needs its own anime. The character designs are epic, along with the music and stages. It's just too good to be left without one. Thank you to Mr. Yabuki for making the game extraordinary.

because Kirby is not directly from Nintendo. it's from HAL, a partnerstudio from Nintendo. and many Metroids since GameCube come also not directly from Nintendo.

At first, I wasn't really sure I'd like ARMS that much, but BOY was I wrong! The battles are so much fun! It's the perfect blend of a competitive fighting game and a fun party game! I really like how unique and full of personality all the characters are! I absolutely love this game and its characters and I hope to see more of this game and franchise in the future! Spring Man for Smash Switch! :D
