The Red Lightning car looks like the Himmel EO before Ridge Racer 5. Makes you wonder if Ridge Racer, Ace Driver, and Dirt Dash are supposed to all be tied together.

Many brand in Ridge Racer games are here too, unfortunately this is not a RR rally spin off.

You saw the Chinese name for Rave Racer from 0:11, right? This one looks pretty cool...

I don't know of a real brand that appears in Dirt Dash; there's Advan in Rage Racer and Pocket Racer though (then there's DoCoMo in RR Vita).
EDIT: I got it, it's Soft99, a car cleaning product. Didn't know that was a real brand.

How do I open the Car Settings mode?

FMecha Hold gas+brake and view switch before u insert the coin and keep holding view switch+brake until you finished selecting the car to enter No-CPU TimeAttack mode and if u choose red lightning for TA mode u’ll enter the car tuning screen.
