The only thing I love about Obi_Wan Can Blow Me is Disparu videos. Disney, please give us a season 2, 3, 4, and a Reeva theatrical release. I want to see more and more Disparu videos!
Lmao, I do think we'll get season 2 in some form. It's already been hinted at that the cast will do it, worst case I think is probably the characters from Obi-Wan go over to other series and carry on their story in episodes there. If we don't get a defined series 2.
"Obi-Wan Kenobi's bad lightsaber battles were secretly perfect." It should be literally illegal for someone to publish something like that. I'm talking about jail time here.
No they shouldn’t be jailed. Because if we started jailing people for yellow journalism, that opens the same door that Julian Assange was shoved through for legit journalists. I’m fine with morons like this guy pushing that line because it’s gonna torpedo their career as it outs them as untrustworthy.
@@NathanCassidy721 Please, man. Tell me you're not comparing Assange with someone that practically wrote "water is secretly dry and the sun is secretly dark". It's not even a matter of opinion. BTW, I can't see your answer on the comments section. The only way I could get here was through the link on the notification I have received.
@@Herandro_just_Herandro I'm not. I'm saying that taking actions against someone who is bad at their job opens the door for bad people to use them against those that are good at it.
It takes a special kind of stupid to be handed the Star Wars IP and run it straight into the ground. I am not a mega Star Wars fan by any means. But, even if you had put someone in charge like me, someone with just nominal love for the genre, they would have made billions upon billions. They could only have achieved this failure by having people in charge that do not love the genre. Apparently, they have worked very hard for this failure.
They do not love the franchise or understand it but it's the perfect vehicle to push the message into the faces of the oblivious. It's actually impressive just how incompetent they are, the latest trilogy was an abomination as if someone that has never watched Star Wars was briefed by a toddler and then told to write a close approximation of what they think Star Wars is.
@@hanskneesun123 had they asked an actual fan they could have made it not be that awful. Maybe not actually good as that doesn't appear important to them.
The most badace scene of Vader was in rogue one when all u saw was smoke filling up the hall and then u saw the bright red glow of his saber just ending everyone
Yeah that was a cool scene. I do agree with the point that he could have just grabbed the guy getting away with the force. But it's still a great fight scene.
A personal favorite of mine. Especially when he glues that one guy to the ceiling. And casually walks past then slashes him in half. To me that is Vader.
I'm still amazed they didn't rectify how Cal got into the Fortress and recycled it into Kenobi. But, now I'm praying Reva doesn't appear in The Mandalorian.
Reva should have been giving her own show before kanobi. Her storyline could have been so freakin cool but it was executed wrong, they could have used here to highlight all the survivors of order 66, I'm talkin Cal, Vos, Grogu etc, what happened to them how did they get out and how did they survive.
@@j02savage9 One of the most frustrating things about Disney Star Wars is that it could have been so much better if it was handled with a greater (or any at this point) degree of care. If anyone needs proof of that they can look at the parts of the franchise from which obi-wan shamelessly stole it's ideas.
I laughed at Reva's crocodile tears. She was forcing it, and even with that, she was crying way harder than she had any right to, over herself. She cried so much harder than anyone else who was tortured or otherwise devastated by hers, the inquisitor's, and Vader's violent sadistic acts. She didn't cry from true emotional depth like I have recently. She certainly didn't cry from remorse, which she is incapable of. Someone who commits horrific violent acts over and over is not all of a sudden going to stop being a sadistic freak. Reva sobbed over herself. Worrying of she has become like Vader, really? After she would've tortured a kid if she wasn't interrupted. She, who cut a woman's hand off? She who's job it was to hunt down and kill Jedi. She, who was mad at Vader for taking everything from her? She, who was mad at Ben, she blamed him for not being there to carry her out of Vader's way and save everyone? Reva, dearie, it's way too late for you to do the water works!
reva just need to "cry" a bit at the end and somehow shes absolved of any guilt she had done for killing massive number of people and jedi (supposedly) 🤮 its like the writers are living in a different world than everyone else . i notice this also happen to any other franchise like : wanda in mcu enslaving a town for her own personal ego , the black chick in thor capturing people as slaves and selling them then later on she becomes leader . its like they dont care how horrible the person is or do as long as they are woman and theres no repercussion at all 🤔
Damn right. She doesn’t deserve to be sad, much less sympathized with. She’s not redeemable, and as much as they wish it, she’s not a role model, just a cruel psycho.
This is why Disney isn't going to start making good content: "Someone who commits horrific violent acts over and over is not all of a sudden going to stop being a sadistic freak." That's what Disney is, a bunch of sadistic ACTUAL racist, ACTUAL sexist and ironically ACTUAL Marxist *FREAKS* and they aren't just going to stop pumping out this garbage because *they can't* lmao i hope they keep pumping this shit out because i thoroughly enjoy watching Disney destroy itself
Kenobi got positive review bombed on meta critic. If you look at the 'other reviews' from the 10 star reviews, almost all of them only have 1 review, whereas all the low scores are left by people with multiple reviews on their account.
Those figures have apparently become a meme to send them to people to troll them. It’s similar to how Steam players would gift each other the game Bad Rats.
Star Wars is Dead. We currently live in the worst era for good entertainment ever. The market is oversaturated with crap. There are some gems out there, but they are few and far between.
Got an ad for that Reva Inquisitor Lightsaber here on RUclips. Couldn't stop laughing, cause in the back of my mind, I heard, "Please buy our products!" In Metal's voice.
Funny part is that it's beating Boba Fett....not everything. They found what most consider to be the worst SW show and are like "well...at least we're not the worst" lmao
Funny thing: I checked that Haslab page after the event ended. Supposedly how it works, the prospective product get massive surge on last day, because middlemen accumulate orders untll last moment (to maximize commissions), and unload them just before deadline, to avoid situation they get pledge after already making an order. So how much did it end up with? Whooping 1360, whole 9 new orders in almost 2 final days.
There are definitely some that you can see coming. Kenobi was one of them when they started going after people on twitter. She-Hulk is another one that has the signs when you listen to the interviews. As well as others I've spoken about on the channel. I find it's more a surprise when something is really good, like The Terminal List, then something is surprising after the pre-release marketing.
It's meant to spin and I have no idea why. I can't see why spinning is an advantage at all, and the whole flying with it thing is crazy. Of course, this one can't do any of that which makes it even more bizarre.
@@disparutoo hahaha, just get a robot hand like General Grievous, he did spinning lightsabers better. Using a spinning lightsaber like the helicopter GoBot from the 80s is ssstttuuuppid. What a terrible idea.
@@disparutoo never understood the spinning. They can be stopped like a stick in a bike wheel....or stabbing and the forward facing hand hole. It's a dumb design
What taints the whole series for me is the following: 1- After the sequel trilogy, Disney is already on thin ice with me 2- Disney preemptively calling the fans “racist” if they don’t like Reeva 3- The lead writer of the show hadn’t even seen the prequels 4- The entire “point” of the show is now “stepping on the toes” of Obi’s and Vader’s encounter on the Death Star in A New Hope
I was done with Disney after TLJ. Making Luke suck and then having him die at the end while force feeding Ray as the hero down our throats...the Kenobi series was just insult to injury. 🤮👎
The most unacceptable aspect of the story now is that obi wan allowed Vader to live. All Vader deaths post the Kenobi show, are now the responsibility of obi wan. They took the wise old man & made him a coward...
There is plausible justibility there though Anakin was burning alive. Reasonably he shoud've made sure they he cooked until he died. But I don't believe Obi-Wan would want to hear someone he considered a brother, scream in pain while buring alive. He esentially left because he believed Anakin died. The difference in the show is Vader is visible still kicking he's just injured. Then Obi-Wan just walks away, and it is never explained why.
@@noahsmith1053 I disagree completely as Lucas gave us the most horrible depictions of Jedi to date: the Council's retarded treatment of Anakin in light of what they suspected he was, Quigon bizarrely not freeing Anakin's mother and taking her to safety led directly to his fall, and Obi-wan not finishing Anakin off as an act of mercy was probably the most brutal thing he did in his entire arc. You can't escape bad writing...but Anakin had to live because you gotta get to Episode 4.
PerfectTangent Sorry, that still belongs to Lucas in Revenge of the Sith. He should have finished him on Mustafar - The Emperor was landing. Obi had to leave or die.
@@PerfectTangent But the point of the Council was to show their hubris and how they conducted themselves because they believed what they were doing was the corect way. Then the Clone Wars made them degrade because they were forced into the fold as generals, despite being peacekeepers. I figured that's one of the reasons Luke established new ground rules in the EU like its okay to love, to prevent the dogmatic views of the old order from repeating into a similar incident. I definitely feel like Qui-gon should have freed Shmi, but without rewatching the film and just going off memory. I thought he did attempt to free them both via the bet, but Watto would only accept losing a single slave. Leading to the toss where Qui-Gon focused on acquiring Anakin over acquiring Shmi. Her death definitely was a vital compotent of his character's future change, but other things played a part too. Such as Obi-Wan despite being a good person may not have been the best choice alone to assume the duty as his master, the council's manner of doing things, the Emperor subletly influencing him while he was growing up. I believe a lot of things developed into Anakin becoming Vader, but the one that broke the mold was seeing a vision of Padme's death. And again just going off memory but I recall Obi-Wan not agreeing to letting him burn, at least if I'm remembering his face and body langauge but he lets it happen. Although I feel like it was a good choice to have Anakin's limbs cut off and he's burned for a while, I felt like that was a good transition from why physically Anakin ended up as Vader.
13:49 "The new Disney+ show makes the original movie more powerful than you can possibly imagine." That's true. Kenobi was so sh*t, with so many plotholes that it made me love and appreciate the original trilogy and the prequels a lot more.
I am proud to say i never watched Boba Fett or ObiWan... Disney killed Star Wars with their movies... anyone watching anything else they put out is either gullible, desperate or simply dumb.
Yeah after TLJ I started to see where they were headed. I still watched TROS but that was the nail in the coffin for me. I've just ignored everything else they've made since.
George killed Star Wars with the Special Editions, and the prequels where simply the nails in the coffins. He can't direct, he can't write, and he can't edit. All of his successes where at the hands of talented coworkers and subordinates. Honestly the greatest con was him selling Star Wars to Disney in the first place.
I really struggle to understand how anyone can actually like Disney's 'Obi-Wan Kenobi'. Incredibly, it does have a few fans out there, but these people seem to be the most easily pleased on the planet. Personally, I thought it was non-canonical, non-sensical, fan-hating, ludicrous garbage (Leia and Obi-Wan doing a Jake-the-peg' impersonation, anyone?). Any fan liking that trash would enjoy Disney slapping the Star Wars logo on the phone book and filming that; they would enjoy literally anything Star Wars, so Disney doesn't need to worry about them. Instead, they should be focusing their efforts on appealing to the more discerning fans if they really want Star Wars to succeed under their stewardship, but that requires effort, skill, and a modicum of Star Wars knowledge... so no hope there then 😞
Reva was such an AWFUL character. And totally unecessary to the storyline. They could/ should have had the Grand Inquisitor be the main villain. That would have been so much better. I was glad to see Hayden brought back, but saddened at the limited screen time he got. I dont count time spent in the Vader suit, that could be anyone. Overall the Kenobi Show has been a big disappointment.
Wherever she shows up next I hope they replace the actress. Reva's story was pretty flimsy on paper to begin with but Moses just butchered whatever hope was left of making her a compelling character
People might watch Obi Wan because it is a popular character and the Star Wars brand. But it doesn't mean they like it. It made me cancel my Disney subscription
Just in general don’t give your money to work companies if you can help it, anything you can substitute with a non-woke company. Let’s just wean ourselves off their shit and make our own stuff that’s better and made by people that don’t hate you
Disparu, you are really good at this style of analysis. Really really good. I did not watch Book of Boba Fett or Obi Wan; told wife when renewal rolls round, cancel Disney+. I watched both Mando seasons, but even in that, I had real problems with the incompetence of the Empire and the complete lack of capability of each and every stormtrooper.
Stormtroopers, from elite Shock troops to hopeless cannon fodder. A shining example of how leaning into the joke undermines your narrative stakes and world building .
You drew the line at "the incompetence of the Empire"?? You mean that same empire that was essentially in ruins after Return of the Jedi? There are better hills to defend.
It says a lot when Stranger Things latest season is still being talked about namely because of characters like Eddie more than Kenobi. Let that sink in. And keep in mind the last few seasons were terrible and the Duffer brothers turned it around. LF could have easily done the same had they adapted the Kenobi audiobook. But nah. They thought they could do better. LOL.
The funniest thing about these agenda-driven shows is that the crowd that is supposedly so progressive and all about fighting the power of big corpos is coping so hard about how bad these woke tv shows are that they’re working overtime to cover the ass of a big corporation. Just a pure clown fiesta.
After the first 5 seconds of seeing Reva my mom correctly guessed her backstory. She doesn't regulary watch movies and is not that fond of Star Wars already.
Have you played Jedi: Fallen Order? There were so many scenes/concepts in Obi-wan that were just bad rip offs of stuff from that game; but the game did it SO much better.
Its pretty bad when the wife, who is a rabid SW fan, was anxiously waiting for this, watched the first 3 episodes, and looked to me last nite finishing episode 4 and said "I can't watch the rest. They killed SW for me...."
When I was a kid growing up with the Star Wars movies in the 80s, never in a million years would I have thought anyone could make Star Wars Ghey. But, Disney finds different ways to do just that.
7:42 The toy lightsaber was designed by Hasbro technicians, the 12 to 18 months figure is for their average project that is A LOT more complex than a lightsaber. It's usually some big azz action figure or vehicle like that GI Joe tank that is blowing past all the stretch goals. Plenty of moving parts and details
It seems to be a trend nowadays. Wheel of Time and Halo also had massive budgets, but when you watch them you have no idea where it's gone. Certainly doesn't look like it on the screen.
Here's a printing press that just spits out money! What could possibly stop this multiple billion dollar juggernaut! Who should we give it to? Kathleen Kennedy enters room.😱
Don't worry about the show(s') quality guys, all you have to do is spend $5,000 on a small room and another $6,000 on two $5 shots of whiskey to get the true SW experience. But hey guess what, the thing that holds the whiskey puffs smoke out when we opened it. Ain't that cool!? You also should spend another $2,00 to explore our shopping cent-I mean theme park designed around OUR version of SW. Look, FO troopers! look, Kylo! Look, Rey!
its part of the cult mindset that RLM pointed out recently and if you've ever been around a cult or interacted with one you know exactly what the reaction is like, its identical to how these crazies act all the time because they're living in a denial fantasy about something being amazing as that's all they've got to hold on to
@@artexjay I can't remember who said it but a while back there was a video talking about extremism and religious ideology they showed how humans are wired to do this and the examples of extreme zealotry in these kinds of groups highlights how a brain without that will go extremely in that direction regardless.
Absolutely, in a rush, we need chairs, just buy them from Ikea and put them in place. It's even worse when most of it is in the volume so they don't even need full sets but still were apparently rushed.
There's a reason why Darth Maul Vs Old Kenobi is such a masterpiece of a lightsaber fight. It had tension, 2 characters with history going at it in their final battle. One of them was going to die and when their sabers finally collided the fight was over in 3 strikes. Everything about it was a master class of "Show don't tell." Obi-wan switching lightsaber styles before the fight, Maul attempting the same strike that killed Qui-gon, only to fail because his tricks wouldn't work a 2nd time. Even though we know Kenobi has to survive to Episode 4, the tension was great and a very good send off to another tragic character in this series. Vader, Kenobi, Luke and Leia ALL have to survive to episode 4 and there's literally 0 tension when these characters meet up again. They don't do a good job at all with these new characters and they either aren't allowed to survive to episode 4 or they just die in the time in-between. Not even going into how the new characters are just very boring and forgettable. It really makes me think why can't they come up with anything new that isn't just retreading the old republic and calling it the "high" republic or the OT. It's a GALAXY far far away, not the same handful of planets :P
I never liked maul being resurrected from a fatal injury but I cannot deny the final confrontation for those two characters had a decent amount of tension as a result of their history.
There is an age-old saying when it comes to writing within novels, films, gaming and anything related to story telling: "Show, don't tell". Apparently these 'journalists' haven't even taken a single lesson in english literature. It's basically story telling 101. It seems like they think the public is so stupid that we can't infer meaning when it is literally obvious. This madness will stop when we all take our wallets and viewership and leave. Either they will go out of business or they'll stop treating us like lemmings. My money is on they will go out of business.
A lightsaber from a throw away character is going for $499 and is due in "Fall 2023". No thanks for that overpriced toy! By the time it comes out I would of forgotten who Reva is
I can't really argue against minor characters getting toys, the thing that's annoying to me is when they don't write the main characters well. Even back in the days when the original trilogy was in theaters, minor characters were getting action figures. So Teeka the Jawa getting a toy, cool! I'm all for it. If only the show were good enough to justify the toys.
Yeah, I'm not sure how anyone can criticize the idea of incredibly minor characters getting action figures. For example: Hammerhead, 1978 (a few seconds, no lines) Snaggletooth, 1978 (a few seconds, no lines) Walrus Man, 1978 (a few seconds, 2 lines) R5-D4, 1978 (a few seconds, 2 lines) Death Star Droid, 1978 (a few seconds, no lines) Power Droid, 1978 (a few seconds, no lines) FX-7, 1980 ((a few seconds, no lines) Bossk, 1980 (a few seconds, no lines) IG-88, 1980 (a few seconds, no lines) Dengar, 1981 (a few seconds, no lines) Cloud Car Pilot, 1982 (a few seconds, 2 lines) 4-LOM, 1982 (a few seconds, no lines) Zuckuss, 1982 (a few seconds, no lines) Klaatu, 1983 (a few seconds, no lines) Weequay, 1983 (a few seconds, no lines) Squid Head, 1983 (a few seconds, no lines) Ree-Yees, 1983 ((a few seconds, no lines) Nikto, 1984 (a few seconds, no lines) B-Wing Pilot, 1984 (less than a minute, a few lines) Prune Face, 1984 (a few seconds, no lines) Rancor Keeper, 1984 (a few seconds, 1 line) Romba, 1985 (a few seconds, no lines) Amanaman, 1985 (a few seconds, no lines) Barada, 1985 (a few seconds, no lines) A-Wing Pilot, 1985 (less than a minute, a few lines) Imperial Dignitary, 1985 (a few seconds, no lines) Yak Face, 1985 (a few seconds, no lines) That's 27 characters with no more than a dozen total lines of dialogue between them, and, at most, 5 minutes of total screen time across 3 movies. We've been getting toys of incredibly minor characters for nearly 45 years, now...
The Star Wars we knew is dead. It was a great restaurant with inventive food until the owner sold it to McDonald's. We go back hoping for the interesting dishes we got before, only to be confused by the flat, dry, salty processed burgers we're given now. It's the same restaurant in name only, and the only things keeping it going are those that remind us of when it was good.
Obi-wan was awful. Truly awful. Technical merits worse than Rise of Skywalker, and character assassination/fidelity almost as bad as The Last Jedi. That said, I believe a record breaking number of ppl watched it. once. 😐
I can look over many, many many mistakes and bad story decisions but the one thing that destroyes it for me was that Vader got BEAT clearly, this is so bad I can´t put it into words. It really hurts my entire Star Wars experiance about my most beloved movie character Anakin/Vader. Having anyone tower over him after EP3 and leaving him at mercy is so bad, I wish I wouldn´t have seen that ever. ObiWan letting Vader live is stupidity 10x. Sure letting people survive lightsaber attacks is really bad, focusing on Reva really bad, focusing on Leia bad too, not de-aging Hayden, plot-holes all over ... I could look over much of this bs but letting Vader getting his ass handed to him was the biggest mistake IMO
This explains how perplexing i found all the damn articles about how popular the wheel of time was, how it was breaking records, how it was the most watched tv show that year despite me barely knowing anyone who watched it outside a few of my geek friends who like me, have read the books and hated it
The whole "Obi Wan once thought as you do" does not mean Obi Wan once thought Anakin was good (that's obvious) it means Obi Wan once thought that AFTER Anakin became Vader there was still good in him and he could return to the light side. This is never conveyed. But it could have been done better than in this ridiculous show.
Bragging over this reminds me of when media praised Kathleen Kennedy for making a lot of money with The Force Awakens, as if it's an incredible achievement that she made money with the first Star Wars film in a decade. How amazing! How on Earth did someone manage that? Incredible! That's like praising a lotto winner for their financial expertise and hard work. It would be more difficult of an achievement to lose money with a Star Wars film at that time - and Kathleen found a way, with a Han Solo film no less. It's a sad state of affairs when media has to treat Star Wars like a small child, praising the most minor things. "Look! Star Wars went to potty all by itself!" Oh how the once great have fallen...
Most of the episodes were filler because it was intended to b movies but the massive failure of solo made them rethink the entire slate, reva also was show horned in. Its also sad wen her saber did not make the backing that it needed. The show is crap because princess organa could have not known Kenobi going by the original movies, vader and Ben could have not have fought before the og movies, Reva's actress either over acted or couldn't act, the first fight between Ben and vader was crap. The only one thing that's possible is Luke meeting Ben because in the og movies Luke called him old ben
The thing is the series was 6 episodes but several of them were 32-35 minutes long once you remove all the credits etc. So I don't think the footage would be that far off some kind of extended directors cut of a movie. And with the script writer for the movies saying that most of it is what he wrote, it's looking like even the movie would have ended up the same as this. Thor love and thunder backs this up given they used the same tech etc kenobi did for the volume.
That original script is as broken as the show. Vader pushes Kenobi off a falling space station? So, A New Hope should have been like, *SOMEHOW OBI-WAN RETURNS* Vader: "When last we met, I saw you falling screaming off a space station re-entering atmosphere ... Now I am the Master." FFS, HOW STUPID ARE THE PEOPLE AT DISNEY AND LUCASFILM? I WANT A QUANTIFIABLE NUMBER RANKING SO WE CAN MAKE IT ILLEGAL.
Also in the show itself Vader doesn't actually learn anything from Obiwan. Yes he was cocky when he walked away after burying Obiwan but when they actually fought, Vader was dialed in and being cautious (two hands on his saber) but Obiwan straight up overpowers him
It's clear their goal was that reva was gonna be thier next ray and they will destroy lore and beloved characters to do so. Disney is a shit company and will never produce anything for the fans
I mean... I wouldn't even spend $80 on a Reva lightsaber let alone $500... No wonder they haven't hit their backer goal. I know some people like the collectors edition stuff; but I mean, $500? That's an 'oof' from me.
Muppet Baby Leia has *"Earned A Holster"* ?? So... erm... Lucasfilm is *Pro 2nd Amendment Rights?!* I guess TWITter was right when the twitter mob jumped all over the guy and said, _"Star Wars has ALWAYS been Political, A hole..."_
That fan edit trimming down Obi-Wan Can Blow to 2 hours I heard adds dialogue and cuts scenes and makes it 100 times better just shows the writers, directors, and producers don't know what they're doing.
After Solo, the Sequel Abominations, Boba Fett, the High Republic, GINA(!), the ass-knots at Disney/Pukeusfilm STILL don't understand what they were holding in their grasp! I know that fact is old news to anyone who ever cared about the enchantment of Star Wars, but it reasserts itself in a new unit of time! THEY DON'T KNOW, UNDERSTAND, OR GET IT! Their are no words to express or describe the intangible levels of disconnect between those who cared as viewers, and the ridiculous incompetence of the staff and "creatives" holding the reins of Star Wars! Rushed production?! They scrapped the first try at Kenobi! Rushed?! Well, one thing about it. It is highly unlikely that ANYONE will ever get a chance to screw up a cultural phenomenon on this scale again! That Disney and their "firsts in history"!

I am not a mega Star Wars fan by any means. But, even if you had put someone in charge like me, someone with just nominal love for the genre, they would have made billions upon billions.
They could only have achieved this failure by having people in charge that do not love the genre. Apparently, they have worked very hard for this failure.
Very true

They do not love the franchise or understand it but it's the perfect vehicle to push the message into the faces of the oblivious.

Reva, dearie, it's way too late for you to do the water works!
reva just need to "cry" a bit at the end and somehow shes absolved of any guilt she had done for killing massive number of people and jedi (supposedly) 🤮 its like the writers are living in a different world than everyone else .

wanda in mcu enslaving a town for her own personal ego ,
the black chick in thor capturing people as slaves and selling them then later on she becomes leader .

3- The lead writer of the show hadn’t even seen the prequels
4- The entire “point” of the show is now “stepping on the toes” of Obi’s and Vader’s encounter on the Death Star in A New Hope

@Disparu the most hilarious thing I got as an ad at the beginning of the video was Disney begging people to buy Reva's lightsaber.
Sorry, that still belongs to Lucas in Revenge of the Sith. He should have finished him on Mustafar

Sorry, that still belongs to Lucas in Revenge of the Sith. He should have finished him on Mustafar -
The Emperor was landing.

The Star Wars we knew is dead. It was a great restaurant with inventive food until the owner sold it to McDonald's. We go back hoping for the interesting dishes we got before, only to be confused by the flat, dry, salty processed burgers we're given now.
I totally agree it ruins his menace

The whole "Obi Wan once thought as you do" does not mean Obi Wan once thought Anakin was good (that's obvious) it means Obi Wan once thought that AFTER Anakin became Vader there was still good in him and he could return to the light side.
The whole Baby Leia stuff was so much cringe.
I would rather double tap a nail-gun into my groin then watch a remake of "A New Hope" by Disney or anyone really but, definitely not Disney.
That original script is as broken as the show.
Vader pushes Kenobi off a falling space station?
So, A New Hope should have been like,
*SOMEHOW OBI-WAN RETURNS*
Vader: "When last we met, I saw you falling screaming off a space station re-entering atmosphere ... Now I am the Master."
FFS, HOW STUPID ARE THE PEOPLE AT DISNEY AND LUCASFILM?
I WANT A QUANTIFIABLE NUMBER RANKING SO WE CAN MAKE IT ILLEGAL.
Also in the show itself Vader doesn't actually learn anything from Obiwan. Yes he was cocky when he walked away after burying Obiwan but when they actually fought, Vader was dialed in and being cautious (two hands on his saber) but Obiwan straight up overpowers him
I'm convinced if someone asked Disney to sell KFC, they'd probably advertise it as 'Warm Dead Bird'.
I’m still trying to figure out how anyone can walk around a day after getting impaled with a lightsaber.
Rey used force time travel, then force heal on Reva.
It's clear their goal was that reva was gonna be thier next ray and they will destroy lore and beloved characters to do so. Disney is a shit company and will never produce anything for the fans
disney is the most talented company in the world. The did what I thought was impossible. They made not care about star wars.
Jup I have no clue why they choose to even make this show. It just hurts to watch :(
They should name their A New Hope reboot "Star Wars - No Hope". Or at least that's how I feel.
Every ad that came on while I was watching this video was for star wars obi wan kenobi. I don't think that to be a coincidence. They must be desperate
Lucasfilm is really good at disappointment-100%!
Lol yes! They certainly know how to make shitty decisions!
I mean... I wouldn't even spend $80 on a Reva lightsaber let alone $500... No wonder they haven't hit their backer goal. I know some people like the collectors edition stuff; but I mean, $500? That's an 'oof' from me.
RIP starwars. Maybe one day you will rise from the ashes instead of being a zombie corpse and a shadow of its former self
Thanks!
Muppet Baby Leia has *"Earned A Holster"* ??
So... erm... Lucasfilm is *Pro 2nd Amendment Rights?!*
I guess TWITter was right when the twitter mob jumped all over the guy and said, _"Star Wars has ALWAYS been Political, A hole..."_
How can it get worse I keep asking myself and yet they still manage to shit the bed
The lightsaber battles were so secretly good I still haven't seen how perfect they were.
Bruh...
The "advert" before this video-
"The Reva Lightsaber".
I. Am. Effin'. Dying.
I'm old and dead inside, though.
That fan edit trimming down Obi-Wan Can Blow to 2 hours I heard adds dialogue and cuts scenes and makes it 100 times better just shows the writers, directors, and producers don't know what they're doing.
Just replacing Reva with the Grand Inquisitor would've made this show better
Disney killed the golden goose... SW is dead to me...
The people clamoring for “a New Hope” reboot clearly learned nothing from the mistakes of George Lucas
Keep it up, we need all the help we can to move this crazy crap off stage.
I watched the first and them making him a coward watching people getting killed as he hides like a um, coward.
leia is a 5 year old and already a *master spaceship engineer* fixing an unknown spaceship while all the other adults are just dumb children dont know things .
thats high quality writing right there 😂 👍
If you told me she was a flash trained clone, I'd believe it.
This is literally Rey being a master lightsaber duelist and force user with no explanation all over again
The force is female, how dare you
@@crayoneatinggo0n477
true ,
kathleen kennedy force gender surgery on the force making it female 🤔 i dont know if she got its permission first before doing the surgery though .
@@superstd its 2022, permission is not required. In fact its the opposite, gender manipulation is indoctrinated/brainwashed into the youth, get with the program.... Sheesh 🤣
