I LOVE this song. Actually both of them. I love the Acoustic version of Crowns as much. I am not kidding when I say I listen to Crowns 10 times a day minimum. I have never had a song that empowers me as a believer so much. What TRULY blesses me is not only the music, but the power of the lyrics. I want the line, "Kings of earth bow down, and lose your crowns." On my tombstone as a testimony to the sovereignty of my Lord and savior Jesus Christ. I suffered a bad construction accident 15 years ago which left me in severe pain after being hit in the back with nearly 2000 pounds of steel. I stumbled across the song Pattern in Pain, and haven't looked back...Phinehas is awesome and thegodmachine is one of my all time favorites. Thank you God for men of conviction anf talent who aren't ashamed of the Gospel of Christ! I used to play guitar for hours before I got hurt. Wherever we travelled building mills, I would lug my guitars and amps along and spend hours playing and recording. After I got hurt it became difficult to play due to the pain. I have been playing more lately, and these guys are part of the reason. I used to dream of being a musician when I was growing up, and I know that primarily my calling is to share the Gospel by preaching and through the writing that I do, but I have been enjoying writing instrumentals to the Lord lately and posting them on my RUclips channel. I would just like to encourage someone who may be reading this that you don't have to let pain, past, or limitations define you. Surrender your heart, your life and your everything to Jesus Christ today! The Bible says that "every knee shall bow, and every tongue shall confess that Jesus is Lord." Why not do that now?
