Hey, I remember this!. Hah, getting hit by the cinnamon roll and ya accidentally borrowing the cards I wanted autographed by Richard Kane Ferguson were some fun highlights of that weekend, not going to lie.
This is an absolutely hilarious coincidence, but the guy Kathleen accidentally hit with a cinnamon roll goes to the same LGS as me. 8:57 We both live in Kansas. So it's a very odd coincidence to see a fellow Kansan in a video blog from a Canadian comedian. Of course, we both play Magic so that makes sense.
I now know what I look like when I'm judging! I've been waiting for this vlog since I was working the white area that weekend. It's now my goal to be background judge in as many Gvlogs as possible.
I love how Ben worked his way in. His face was so serious and he was poking around so diligently in the background that I didn't think he was jumping in to the bit until it happened. What a fool I was.
I found me, I was the guy behind the person who brought the physical media at the signing. I’m glad you got to play aqua’s cube, I was able to play it at cube con 2022 very fun experience. It was awesome to see you guys in Minneapolis hopefully I’ll get the chance to see you again
Thank you Graham! It's really awesome actually seeing myself in one of these vlogs (at 3:53) after watching them for so long. Meeting y'all, playing your event, and playing you in round two was the biggest highlight of my first MagicCon (and first con in general!). I can't wait to see you guys again in Chicago, and partake in more CHAOS!
@@artacuno7564 Thanks! Saw them a year ago in Chicago without having hearing them before because my work buddies had a spare ticket. We hung around after and met Brendan Murphy, and found out he was actually a Magic player, so I got to chat with him about that a little.
This was very fun and relaxing to watch, thanks for putting this together and shoutouts to Jordynne for co-editing this! Probably made this happen faster to be enjoyed by my eyeballs
10:08 So one workday after watching this, I Googled what a "walking taco" is, and . . . that is the most violently U.S.-style eat-on-the-go idea I think I have encountered.
Love this series of videos, has been lovely to watch as someone who lives abroad and will likely never get to one of these 'cons, and I love how chill your videos are
It must be very strange going on a journey with Graham, as he consistently goes across the *other* crosswalk (and pre-enters rooms for setup) just to get footage. Also, I've occasionally wondered/asked what Magic cards the various members of the crew are requested to sign most often, but ... is there any pattern of what people bring Beej to sign?
As you said loading the pallet was like “very expensive Tetris”, I was doing the Tetris music to myself. Granted, I always do that when I’m stacking something like that or loading a car.
OMG YEs you went to sushi train! I noticed that in your other video and glad you guys checked it out. Love that place! go everytime Im at a con in the Hyatt.
Just went to Sushi Train yesterday for dinner. It is solid sushi, much better than you might expect in Minnesota, but then the best sushi I’ve had was in Reno so ya know some things are unexpected.
Have you ever tried drafting with the Floor Magic format? You can only use cards you find on the convention room floor. It's similar to Hobo Magic, but with less digging through bins.
Love all of these videos, very happy this magic con was a big f'ing success. Also need to get my hands on that playmat at 5:31 I'm guessing it was a con-exclusive?
1:10 - I was So Sure that this story was going to end with the cinnamon roll hitting Voxy in the head. After Jimmy hit her with a booster pack during the Game Knights game, i just figured that projectiles homed in on her.
Note this gvlog is 21 mins long. RUclips has a habit of putting in adverts at the end, so you'd be forgiven for seeing something flashup 'end' 8mins in, have adverts, and assume this was it. Nope, end of Saturday only. So much more gvlog to go!
I got Nuked at the Walking Taco... But that was a food truck at the IPE that had "Nuclear Sauce" which I had to sign a waver for and I took as a shot rather than ordering food as I had already eaten... BAD IDEA. I like spice but WHOA BAD IDEA... I ran to the nearest coffee place and said "Can... You... Sell... Me... Milk..." They said no so i ordered a coffee as it was self serve coffee and I put just a tiny splash of coffee and the rest cream and promptly chugged a cup of cream... It was NASTY.
Trout? Why would they serve Trout sushi in Minneapolis? It would be something like Walleye, Northern, or Bullhead! Bit yeah, I have noticed that the Sushi up there in "Da Cities" is surprisingly good. I would even argue it's on par with what you would find in Seattle. It's just not nearly as ubiquitous.
So for the pallet, did you pack the heavier stuff on the bottom and the lighter stuff on top? If so, you have packed a pallet properly, and better than most people.
Sun makes land warm. Hot air rises. Cool air (often above the sea) moves to fill the space as the hot air leaves it. Everything in its path experiences wind. Also Wikipedia says something about earth's rotation making things spin, which is why spinny air like a cyclone happens?? Cool
The gent who was beaned with the cinnamon roll giving Kathleen a 'Sneak Attack' card cracked me up. What a perfect response.
Graham, thank you for the B-Roll of Minneapolis. I have been so very homesick, and this video was very welcome on a dreary Monday morning in December.
7:16 "why is it loud in here?" That was the boss music before Kathleen showed up!
I made it into a G Vlog with my Princess Auto bag…this is what happiness feels like.
Crushed under a mountain of love and kindness broadly describes the LRR fan experience
16:18 speaking as someone who has packed a pallet or two in my lifetime I must say, that is a well-packed pallet!
Thank you!
Hey, I remember this!. Hah, getting hit by the cinnamon roll and ya accidentally borrowing the cards I wanted autographed by Richard Kane Ferguson were some fun highlights of that weekend, not going to lie.
As I live and breathe, a person I recognize and have spent time with! Small world.
This is an absolutely hilarious coincidence, but the guy Kathleen accidentally hit with a cinnamon roll goes to the same LGS as me.

Shout-outs to companies and workers who do pallet shipping work--y'all make events *happen*!

4 sheets of paper is my new favorite crapshot.
I'm just very glad that those four pieces of paper were properly put away.
Four sheets of paper!
new favourite crapshot.
I love how Ben worked his way in. His face was so serious and he was poking around so diligently in the background that I didn't think he was jumping in to the bit until it happened. What a fool I was.
I love these vlogs. Hoping to 1) watching the MagicCon Amsterdam versions and 2) actually meeting you at MagicCon Amsterdam!
this blog was awesome! it was great to have you draft the cube. I hope to see you at MagicCon Chicago!
It was a blast! What a labour of love, that cube.

Great vlog!
Thank you!!
now i want a show called Science with Kathleen!

You have a good attitude! So jealous you got to meet them! That looks so much fun.

Always a pleasure when one of these is dropped! Ty Graham
Sneak Kathleen attack at 7:24!
Hey that whole series was great! I hope you get a chance to spend more time in Minnesota next time your wander through
Walking Tacos are great! No slander to the best portable meal
aqua! what a awesome cube (and even better guy), great to see it getting so much love lately
10:08 So one workday after watching this, I Googled what a "walking taco" is, and . . . that is the most violently U.S.-style eat-on-the-go idea I think I have encountered.
"Producer and Video Comedian" is a beautiful description of what Graham does. Like, I said out loud "I fucking love that" when I read it.
As someone who used to stack pallets for a living: you did pretty good lol.
King Gizzard should truly allow the name to be used for a legendary lizard wizard.
I'm graduating this Spring, so hopefully I'll get to attend one of these at some point... I'm just pure wistfullness over here.
Love this series of videos, has been lovely to watch as someone who lives abroad and will likely never get to one of these 'cons, and I love how chill your videos are
I just realized. I saw that large canadian mascot several times passing the LRR booth and never realized it was Beej haha.
Phew, so glad Ben found his 4 sheets of paper

This was awesome. Thank you so much again for amazing content.
Having some experience with pallets, I think you did a good job packing that one.
As you said loading the pallet was like “very expensive Tetris”, I was doing the Tetris music to myself. Granted, I always do that when I’m stacking something like that or loading a car.
as someone who stacks pallets everyday at work, you did a great job compared to others I've been trying to teach for over a year XD
Phew! Thanks!
as someone who used to stack pallets of groceries, Good pallet!
I really hope they bring MagicCon or something back to Australia soon. We haven't had an official con here since 2019!
Well all I know is now I am waiting for the next video so I can find out the science behind wind!!!
Wow. Kathleen coulda RKO'ed Graham outta nowhere on that catwalk.
OMG YEs you went to sushi train! I noticed that in your other video and glad you guys checked it out. Love that place! go everytime Im at a con in the Hyatt.
3:32 I see a "Jund 'Em Out" Playmat, and it made me think of Alex.
Just went to Sushi Train yesterday for dinner. It is solid sushi, much better than you might expect in Minnesota, but then the best sushi I’ve had was in Reno so ya know some things are unexpected.
Fuck yeah! Sushi Train is indeed awesome. Went there with my spouse for an anniversary meal. Did not disappoint .
As someone who's job literally is pallet stacker... You did alright.
Have you ever tried drafting with the Floor Magic format? You can only use cards you find on the convention room floor. It's similar to Hobo Magic, but with less digging through bins.
I would personally compare the stacking of the pallet more to prepping for a game of Jenga.
Love all of these videos, very happy this magic con was a big f'ing success. Also need to get my hands on that playmat at 5:31 I'm guessing it was a con-exclusive?
3:23 Sick φade!
hey G,Orxolon here again,and once again:Thanks G for all the "vlogs"! (? (i guess it's called)
10:33 there's a joke about comic relief in here but I'm piss poor at figuring out what
Could anyone tell me what kind of mask Graham and Kathleen are wearing? It's looks to be just what I need and I love that they're black!
aspect ratio so good
I’m all for power stance men’s room signs 😂
"Four Sheets of Paper" needs to be a Crapshot
I wish you guys made more vlogs like this... You people are cool :) ❤❤❤❤
If your merch did get stranded in mpls you could just ask a nice Minnesotan like my self to hold onto it haha, we are known for being nice.
no way Graham actually kinna funny
1:10 - I was So Sure that this story was going to end with the cinnamon roll hitting Voxy in the head. After Jimmy hit her with a booster pack during the Game Knights game, i just figured that projectiles homed in on her.
Wait, what's the Grand Melee? I was waiting for an explanation.
See the TapTapConcede episode for an explanation of the event

14:33 Better than being a rap aficionado playing *Smack My Beej Up*
Does anyone in the comments know have a succinct explanation of how wind works, out of curiosity?
I don't know any more things. These are all the things I know.
High pressure and low pressure in different temperature air causes movement.
Cool
Magiccon Chicago?
oh...KAY, but whatabout
Walken
Taco
🤔🤔🤔
Was that Aaron Forsythe?
Dressed as Gandalf? Yes.
@@GrahamStarkVlogsat 5:14 - 5:17 ...but I didn't know the Gandalf bit, now Ill search for it. Great job on this G, as always ❤
@@AceDRoses Yes, that's him behind Graham and Matt.
Graham vlog good 👍
your mic doesnt pick up the loudness of the bridge. is that editing or your mic is just good?
is beej ok ? he looks so red in the face like an allergic reaction
I'm here to mill, or I'm here to grill.
Oooh Tom Sawyer is read by non-Americans? Love that for us
