I love it how one plane helps you build another, a second helps you build a third, etc. I began working with beech recently. It is such a nice wood for hand tools. I now understand better why it is so often used for hand planes. I enjoy your channel! Thanks for your posts!

Your skills are so very good and each step is completed so accurately and quickly! I would love to see you build a boxed 1/4” or 3/8” grooving plane. I want to try one myself but watching an expert would give me much experience to draw from.

As a newbie I could have watched this all day. I now know why competent carpenters often bought their hand tools instead of making them themselves.
