Puro nalang ba asa sa Fil-am Fil-am. Kawawa pinoy players. The reason why people are losing interest is because they don't know who the fuck they are, lang attachment, that's the reason why nilalangaw na PBA. Filipino first.
Ikaw ba yan Joke?
Jacob Bayla and Alex Konov dapat sa US NCAA sila maglaro than playing college here in PH(almost teams are loaded of stars)
I think their first choice would be to play in the US NCAA, but if they don’t receive any offers, they’ll most likely end up playing in the UAAP. Their ultimate goal is to play professional basketball in Asia, whether it’s here, Japan or Korea.
Heard about the Princeton D1 offer for Bayla, good opportunity for him if he decides to accept that, aside from playing D1, he gets to go to an Ivy League school.
As for Konov, based on an interview last week, he mentioned na as of that time, no offers yet from any D1 or D2 colleges. But I agree, he’s too good to not get at least a D2 offer.
Konov and Bayla should stay in US.
If they get US NCAA college offers, they will most likely stay in the US, but hopefully still be part of the Gilas pool in the future.
@@hoopshubph The purpose is to get the best opportunity they can get while staying sharp in their game so they can provide good help for future Gilas.
Completely agree, probably the best path for them from a personal development standpoint which also aligns well with the vision of Gilas and Pilipinas Basketball.
The most they can get is division 2 offers. There are so many talents in the US and around the world. Sage Tolentino is a talent but he's just riding the pine in Cincinnati. UAAP is the place for them
If they get a D1 college offer, these guys will have a tough decision to make. Assuming their goal is to play professional basketball in Asia and be part of the Gilas Program, they have 2 realistic pathways, stay in the US and ride the bench (but grow & develop during practice and scrimmage with NCAA-level teammates) or come here and join the UAAP, where they’ll also develop and grow by virtue of being able to play in actual games, albeit against slightly lower level of competition compared to D1 schools. If the offer is from a D2 or D3 school, I think the obvious choice is to come here and play in the UAAP.
Good point, but during last year’s UAAP season, some Fil-ams were playing the wing positions. Chris Koon is 6’5” but mainly plays the guard position. Kai Ballungay is 6”7” but played mostly the small stretch forward position. Lebron Lopez at 6’6” was mostly playing as a small forward. So it really depends on the coach and the system.
Hopefully, another teen Filipino 7footer will come out , can potentially dominate and be next in line after Kai Sotto...
Sad to say wala
@@RogerCapulco not losing hope, fingers crossed..🤞
Ayaw nya magdevelop, so kelangan maging 33 years old muna sila.
Old school center si Belga :)
Pag uncommitted wag nyo ilagay,
At mga ingrato dba Amos? 😂
Magaling yang 2 dapat sa USA Lang maglaro..
Yup, agree. Basta meron kumuha sa US na maayos na college program, they should stay there.
Leland Estacio ?
Leland Estacio (California, USA) has also committed to the UST Tigers and will be eligible for Season 87. The 6-2 point guard still has 2 playing years left. Will have some of his highlights in my next video about UST recruits.
J.Harper. Nasa espn mock draft
You might be referring to Dylan Harper. He’s the younger son of Ron Harper and a consensus 5-star recruit sa US NCAA for class of 2024. He is projected to be in the 2025 NBA draft.
They are have philippine passport
Yup, they are all eligible for Gilas as they were part of Batang Gilas Under 16 team in 2022.
Who will be UST coach?
Coach Pido Jarencio will still be the coach of UST.
@@hoopshubph No success if Jarencio will remain as coach. Period
Agree!
@@texwinter7330im not a fan of ust but have you witnessed season 69 success ?
Ung Chase Lane utol b yn ni CJ Lane?
Not 100% sure but yes, I think they are brothers. Their bios both say that their hometown is Easampton, New Jersey.
